The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 15, indicates that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will shut down the notion that he’s being anything less than a genuinely supportive brother.
Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) suspicions about Jack’s wedding present will force him to defend himself, so he’ll insist there’s no drawback when it comes to the My Beauty assets that he’s relinquishing.
Naturally, Jack won’t tell Ashley about his scheme to use Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson against her, but that plan may not work for much longer.
Whether Billy actually joins Ashley’s team or just calls off his part of the plot, Jack probably won’t be able to hang onto Billy as an ally.
Even Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) is starting to see the potential for real peace between Jack and Ashley, so she may convince her husband to stand down and accept the truce news.
Other Y&R spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be deeply disappointed in Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) once Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) rats him out for threatening her.
Victor will get updates on the serious scandal that Audra’s hiding and how Adam tried to use it for his own selfish gain.
It looks like Audra will also sink Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) by admitting he tried to help her keep the cover-up quiet.
That’s why Nate did his best to get Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on board with the Newman Media and Adustus merger.
After Audra finishes spilling everything to Victor, she may reconvene with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and once again thank him for what she views as a brilliant solution.
While Victor prepares to unleash his wrath on Adam, he’ll also want to make sure Victoria has all the facts. Victoria will be thrown for a loop once she hears the truth about Nate’s latest Audra alliance.
Nikki may trash Nate over all the secrets he’s been keeping and urge Victoria to cut him loose or at least reprimand him.
Of course, Victoria will want to confront Nate and give him a chance to share his side of the story. That’s why Victoria will back Nate into a corner and get him to confess what he’s been hiding with Audra.
Although Nate will be sorry for not being totally honest, he’ll defend his merger support since all the pros he offered were still true.
Even so, Nate misled Victoria and will inevitably damage the trust they’ve spent months working on – both at the office and behind closed doors.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate may be desperate to make things up to Victoria after his blunder, so stay tuned.
