The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 22, indicates that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will land in a tight spot with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who still won’t know how to feel after his recent dishonesty.
Victoria is sensitive when it comes to partners who try to influence her decisions and lie to her in the process.
It’s a harsh reminder of what Victoria went through with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and makes her question her own judgment.
Part of Victoria will want to take Nate at his word and trust that he was just being protective of her, the company and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Even so, Victoria has been badly burned by similar situations in the past, so she’ll need reassurance that she can truly trust Nate.
Y&R spoilers say Nate will face a loyalty test on Tuesday’s episode, but this won’t be the end of his dilemma.
It’s possible Nate will pass this particular test, but he’ll deal with some unexpected setbacks as this storyline moves along.
Nate could be his own worst enemy since he’ll cross some lines he shouldn’t cross in the coming episodes.
Of course, Victoria will have some lingering concerns about Audra and how she convinced Nate to help her with the recent blackmail situation.
Since Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is the person closest to Audra right now, Victoria will force him to answer questions and will try to get a feel for just how conniving she really is.
After this meeting, Audra will ask Kyle what went down and will share what she’s learned as well – presumably from Nate.
There’ll be an information swap as Kyle and Audra prepare for any other curveballs that might land in their path at Newman Media.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have to play referee for the Newman brothers again, so look for him to hand down a stern ultimatum.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will face Victor’s warning, so this may involve another shouting match that centers around Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Nick will fume over Victor pulling the plug on the new design division and ruining Sally’s other gig at Chancellor-Winters so she couldn’t go back to it.
Although Nick will blast Victor over the news, he may lash out at Adam too since Victor shut down the project to manage his sons’ rivalry.
Adam may fire back at Nick on Tuesday’s show, but Victor will want them to both shut up and do their jobs.
Perhaps Victor will warn that this is Nick and Adam’s final opportunity to make their new venture work as a team with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
