The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, December 5, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will mull over the situation with Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) and consider what her next move should look like.
If Victoria wants answers about Claire’s history, she’ll have to face her again and relive all the trauma.
That goes for the mess that just happened at the lake house and the trauma that’s buried deeper due to the loss of Eve Nicole Howard as a baby.
Fortunately, Victoria will be able to lean on Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) since they’re both dealing with a lot of the same emotions.
It seems Victoria will agree with Cole’s plan to reunite with Claire in police custody and perhaps ask if she’ll submit to a DNA test. That’s step one when it comes to figuring out if Claire’s a Newman and whether she should get a second chance.
Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) will meet with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to ask about Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) betrayal.
Nate told his side of the story and promised he was innocent, but Devon will want to hear Victor’s thoughts on the matter – especially since he fired Nate for being a traitor.
Victor will make it clear that Nate can’t be trusted, so he’ll warn against patching things up with Nate or letting him back in Chancellor-Winters.
At the ranch, temptation will take a toll on Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’ll pour herself some vodka and consider chugging it down.
Victor will battle serious concerns about Nikki’s sobriety within the next few episodes, so he may come home and catch her drinking or at least contemplating it.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) could make an unsettling discovery of her own since Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will spend some time with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.
Daniel will try to find a way forward with Heather as co-parents and friends, but that could get tricky due to lingering chemistry and Heather’s wish for a romantic reunion.
