The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 18, indicates that the puzzle pieces will click into place for Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier). At the moment, Summer just thinks Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is rushing into a new job at Newman Media.
Unfortunately, the truth is far worse since Kyle has rushed into a new romance instead.
Kyle has been hitting the sheets with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) like crazy – not to mention he’s the one who bought those fancy presents for her.
Y&R fans can expect Summer to have a difficult realization on Tuesday’s episode.
It’ll dawn on Summer that Audra is more than Kyle’s next boss; she’s also the new woman in his life.
Of course, Summer won’t want to believe Kyle’s the kind of man who’d hop in bed with Audra that fast, but all signs will point to his betrayal.
Deep down, Summer will know Kyle’s history has proven he’s capable of this sort of thing.
Once Kyle and Audra get busted, Summer will corner her husband alone and pump him for information.
Kyle will attempt to stonewall Summer, but she’ll blow her top as she pushes him to just confess to sleeping with Audra.
Over with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell), she’ll use Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for target practice as she throws any charges that’ll stick at her.
Christine will want Phyllis prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) has taken over Phyllis’ case for Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), so she’ll pressure Christine to leave her personal history with Phyllis out of this and go easy on her.
The worst crime that Phyllis could go down for involves Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) demise, but hopefully EMT Carson (Walter Belenky) can help her get off the hook for that one.
Next, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will get hit with some guilt once Phyllis is locked up.
Despite Heather’s best efforts to help, Daniel may worry that Phyllis could land in prison for the rest of her life.
That’s not Daniel’s fault, but he’ll still wish he could’ve prevented this outcome somehow.
Maybe Daniel will feel like if he hadn’t been so hard on Phyllis, she wouldn’t have gone off the rails and dug such a huge hole for herself.
Who will comfort Daniel in his time of need? Will it be Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) who supports Daniel or could it be Heather?
If Daniel’s ex consoles him, there’s a chance Lily will catch a glimpse of the former flames and raise an eyebrow.
This would be the ideal time to throw a little angst at Daniel and Lily, so using Heather would be a smart way to achieve that.
Regardless, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis’ prison predicament will leave Daniel feeling guilty, so stay tuned for updates on all her legal news and any other looming drama.
