The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, May 2, teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will meet with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and put her through a grilling session about her intentions.
Victor may wonder how long Sally intends to keep stringing Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) along and toying with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) heart at the same time.
It looks like Victor will seriously doubt that Sally has what it takes to be a mother, so he’ll try to bribe her into leaving her newborn with Adam when the time comes.
When Sally meets up with Nick later, he’ll sense that she’s upset.
Sally will admit that Victor tried to pay her to leave Genoa City and abandon her baby, so Nick will be absolutely furious.
Despite Sally’s insistence that he shouldn’t confront Victor, Nick will certainly want to.
It’s hard to imagine Nick holding his tongue indefinitely, so we’ll see what happens the next time he faces off with his father.
Until then, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will battle guilt as she keeps Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) secret from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
If Summer suddenly backs off all that talk about Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) guilt, it could leave Kyle wondering what brought on the change of heart.
Summer won’t be very good at lying to Kyle, so he may get suspicious and question if she’s hiding something from him.
As for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), she’ll have a video chat with J.T Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) and invite him back to GC for her medical podcast about brain tumors.
When J.T. mistakenly believes Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gave the green light for his interview, Elena will pretend that’s true and hope he’ll agree to come on her show.
Y&R fans can expect Elena to make this bold move behind Victoria’s back, so it should tie in with her vengeful plans against Victoria and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) for cheating.
