The Young and the Restless preview video for the week of August 21 reveals that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) tells Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that it’s time for a divorce. However, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) goes to bat for Summer.
It seems that Nick convinces Kyle to give Summer another chance. However, does Summer even want him back now that he’s with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver)?
Summer Newman-Abbott’s Divorce
Y&R spoilers for the week of August 21 reveal that the new preview video features “Skyle.”
Even though Kyle and Summer separated, there has been no movement as far as a divorce is concerned. Kyle has even moved on with Audra as Summer thinks about her new chapter.
At first, Summer wanted Kyle back. However, some time has passed and sometimes people realize they are making a mistake.
So far, that hasn’t happened with Kyle or Summer. As Summer has been getting guidance from Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), Kyle gets deeper into Audra’s tangled, deceitful web
In the Y&R weekly preview preview, it seems that Summer is ready to start her new chapter.
Summer meets with Kyle and tells him it’s time for a divorce. The look on Kyle’s face suggests that he agrees with Summer’s statement.
Y&R Spoilers: Hugging Harrison Locke
Kyle and Summer do spend some time grieving the loss of their marriage. After all, “Skyle” has come through so much to be together. Even though Summer isn’t Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) mother, she has filled the role.
While Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) is in prison, Summer and Harrison have bonded. So, it seems cruel that Kyle stopped Summer from interacting with Harrison after the truth first came out.
However, this time, both Kyle and Summer hug Harrison. So, it sounds like Summer will at least get to say a proper goodbye to the little boy.
Nick Newman’s Words of Wisdom
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Nick will have a conversation with Kyle. Nick will talk about what a perfect family that “Skyle” make together. Nick just can’t believe that this is really the end of Kyle and Summer’s marriage.
Then, Nick suggests to Kyle that he forgive Summer. So, either something happens with Audra or maybe Nick actually reasons with his son-in-law.
Plus, Kyle needs to think what happens if Harrison and Audra hate each other.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Summer and Kyle Reunite?
By the end of the weekly preview clip, Kyle suddenly shows up at Summer’s door. Summer seems surprised to see Kyle, but also curious. So, if Kyle asks Summer for another chance, will she agree? Or could it already be too late?
