The Young and the Restless Week of January 1: Claire’s Treatment Begins – What’s Next for Jordan – Nikki’s Sobriety Fight

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 1-5 reveal that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) can finally begin her treatment now that the latest round of Jordan (Colleen Zenk) chaos is over. Sadly, Claire will have a whole new layer of trauma to unpack after that fierce faceoff at the cabin.

Claire nearly wiped Jordan off the map in that showdown, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) thankfully stopped her from making a mistake she couldn’t take back. Now Claire can work on healing with the help of the Newman family.

Although Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) are grateful to Claire for saving Nikki, they can’t forget that she played a role in starting this mess.

Claire was manipulated by Jordan, but Nick and Victor are still going to proceed with caution when it comes to her.

However, Nikki seems to understand the level of mental anguish Claire has been through and sympathizes with her new granddaughter.

It’s clear that Nikki’s becoming protective of Claire and will no doubt continue to support her.

Y&R spoilers say Claire will get plenty more support from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) as well.

It may take time before Claire can fully trust anyone thanks to what Jordan did to her, but she’ll appreciate having people who care.

That’ll be good news for Claire as she fights to recover.

Claire will presumably settle back into Memorial Hospital’s psych ward and start treatment with her new doctors, so that’ll hopefully put her on the right track.

With assistance from her medical team, Claire can overcome everything Jordan put her through and start building a better life for herself.

The same goes for Nikki now that the jig is up regarding her relapse. Nikki seems poised to admit she has a problem and accept more help with her sobriety struggles.

While Nikki works hard to get and stay sober, fans will eventually learn what’s next for Jordan. Now that Jordan’s been arrested, we can assume she’ll be formally charged and arraigned soon enough.

Jordan might strike a plea deal or take her chances by letting the case go to trial. Either way, the Newmans will hope that Jordan gets locked up for a long time!

Meanwhile, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will have to figure out whether he’ll take the remaining bait that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is offering regarding Jabot’s fragrance, which is a setup for corporate theft.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker will decide whether to move forward with his revenge, so stay tuned for updates on whether he’ll fall into the trap.

Of course, Tucker is a crafty character who could turn the tables eventually, so smug Kyle needs to be careful.

It sounds like some exciting story developments are coming up during the week of January 1-5.
