The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of June 19-23 reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get the news she never wanted to hear. As Sally cries in her hospital bed, an overwhelming sense of dread will creep in.
Although Sally will stay in denial for as long as she can, the look on Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) face will tell her a crushing blow is coming.
As Adam tries to explain that there was a complication, Sally will look totally shattered.
“Are you telling me that our little girl…she’s not here?” Sally asks in Y&R’s weekly preview video. Adam then confirms that their baby didn’t make it and tearfully tells Sally that he’s so sorry.
The promo also features another clip of Sally with a sad keepsake.
It looks like the hospital will give Sally a memento of her baby’s footprints along with some pink baby booties.
Sally can be seen gazing at these items in the preview before she ultimately sobs and offers a promise to her deceased daughter.
“I will always be your mom and I will never forget you,” Sally says as she wails and clutches the footprints to her chest in the promo.
Courtney Hope shared the preview video on social media and has been getting plenty of praise for her work on the show.
Mark Grossman is doing a wonderful job as well – and things are only going to get more intense from here!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will accuse Adam of being the reason their baby’s dead.
Adam’s decision to keep Sally alive instead of their daughter will leave her fuming, but she’ll inevitably stop blaming him in time.
Sally will be going through a lot, so she’ll blow up at Adam as she tries to work through all her messy emotions.
Let’s hope Sally’s keepsake box and her promise to this little one will help her find closure.
This loss will no doubt leave an indelible mark on Sally, but her grief will get easier to bear down the road.
