The Young and the Restless preview video for the week of May 22 reveals that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is warned by Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Afterward, expect Jack and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to issue threats to each other. This isn’t unusual, but it is hinted that the sibling rivalry could reach volcanic levels.
Billy Abbott’s Betrayal
Y&R spoilers reveal that the promo clip begins with Jack and Billy. The two are discussing Ashley, who is making waves with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
While the rift between Jack and Ashley is escalating, the patriarch’s focus is on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Now, Billy is in a tough position due to his dynamics with Jack and Ashley. Billy should probably just stay out of the whole thing.
However, that wouldn’t make for much drama! So, Billy decides to warn Jack that Ashley might be planning a coup.
Y&R Spoilers: Jack Abbott’s Warning
In the next scene in the promo clip, Jack is back at the Abbott manse. Ashley walks in and that is when Jack decides to confront her about Billy’s warning.
Jack has a warning of his own for Ashley. Jack informs Ashley that if she is planning something, it will fail miserably.
Ashley Abbott’s Fierce Threat
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that the promo clip for the week of May 22 shows Ashley not backing down from Jack.
Ashley fires back that Jack turned his back on everything and everyone in his life.
Then, Ashley adds that Jack abandoned them all to focus on Diane. Before Jack can respond, Ashley warns that it won’t end well before strutting out the door.

On Twitter, the official account for the CBS soap hinted that Jack and Ashley’s sibling rivalry will reach the next level.
So, that sounds like the threats may turn into realities. Will one of them go too far?
Is it possible that Ashley will use Jack’s extreme defense of Diane as a “mental health break”? It could force Jack to resign from Jabot.
Even though Diane is innocent, there isn’t proof of that yet. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) still hasn’t shown herself publicly as being alive.
By the time that happens, the fallout will be catastrophic – not just for the Abbott family and Jabot – but for multiple characters across Genoa City.
