Tonight’s You, Me & My Ex episode begins in Boca Raton, Florida, Elodie and her ex-husband Darion, and she is about to get a breast augmentation, she has been planning to get it as soon as she stopped breast feeding because it made her feel insecure. After taking a vacation with De’Andre, her boyfriend, and his ex Rowan, it shone a light on where their relationship is. She asked him if he was ready to be a step-dad and he said he wasn’t there yet, so she asked Darion to take of her daughter when she had surgery. She tells Darion that she is not sure if De’Andre is capable of being a step dad. They love each other and she hopes he gets there one day, but now just has to focus on the surgery. Darion invited Elodie’s best friend, Zoe, to the hospital so there are familiar faces when Elodie wakes up.
Tampa, Florida, Jennifer, Chantel’s wife, is just ready fora night out where she has no responsibilities, no children. They are all staying in the same house, Danielle, Josh’s wife, Josh, Jennifer’s ex, Jennifer and Chantel, Jennifer’s wife. Jennifer and Danielle are going out for the night, Josh and Chantel are going to watch the hockey game with the kids. Chantel thinks Jenifer looks like a hoochy mama the way she is dressed. Chantel drops them off, but she is not happy about it, she thinks they shouldn’t be going if they are not single. She is afraid if Jennifer gets wasted, she is not going to remember what she did when she got wasted and she won’t know either.
Palm Springs, California, we catch up with Roy, April’s ex, April and Loren, John’s ex wife and John, April’s ex husband. It’s Roy’s birthday, they women decorated and got him his favourite whisky and they rented an Air B&B with a hot tub. Loren leaves the hot tub because Roy is flirting with April, and that is not her scene. April feels right to him whenever he is around her. She tells him that she has always loved him and she is grateful that he is always there for her. He says he is happy to be there, he will always love her. She says she thinks their ship has sailed. She doesn’t know about going home on Monday and might want to stay a little longer, he says ok.
It has been two days since Elodie’s surgery, she feels like crap and can barely lift her arms. And, her boyfriend hasn’t called or text her once, Darion is he only one that has been there for her. She tries to call him and there is no answer, she tried to call twice. Darion says that bothers him a little bit. She is not going to assume anything. He agrees, not good to jump to conclusions. She hopes he has a good explanation, she hopes he is not playing a stupid game because she choose Dorion to take care of her after surgery.
Nashville, TN, we catch up with Matt, Kenzie, Matt’s girlfriend and Chelsea, Matt’s ex. May and Chelsea are out and he wants to go out to look for engagement rings. It has been a long time coming for him and Kenzie to get engaged. Matt tells Chelsea going with him is her rent for staying with them for a month. They arrive in the jewellery store, Chelsea says he shouldn’t get married, he is not good at commitment. Tim, the jewellery store owner is shocked that Matt brought his ex-girlfriend to pick out a ring with him. Chelsea is worried, if Matt proposes to Kenzie, she won’t have him to rely on anymore. Matt has no intentions of getting rid of Chelsea, he would feel really lonely if he did.
Back to Chanel, she is home after dropping off Jennifer and Danielle. Chantel tries to call, and there is no answer. Josh tells Chantel that she shouldn’t call when they are out because it just stresses her. At the bar, Jennifer reveals to Danielle that things are not going well between her and Chantel and she worries about that some days. Jennifer is worried that she has helped raised Camilla and Chantel can take her away. Later, Danielle and Jennifer arrive home, Chantel is wide awake and waiting for them. Josh walks in the room. Danielle says they just needed alone time away from the kids, and Chanel says they could have had that in bed. Josh says he doesn’t care and doesn’t mettle when they go out for a night. Chantel says she doesn’t trust people who are drunk.
Elodie still can’t get in touch with her boyfriend, and little does she know, he is with Rowan, his ex. Rowan asks De’Andre if he spoke to Elodie and he says no, he is giving her her space. He is upset that she choose Dorion over him to take care of her. Rowan thinks he should reach out to Elodie.
