Tonight’s You, Me & My Ex episode begins with Elodie, De’Andre’s girlfriend, De’Andre and Rowan, De’Andre’s ex. Elodie thinks it is a good time for De’Andrew to meet her mom and her ex-husband.
Rowan calls De’Andre and he tells her that he is meeting everyone on Father’s Day and he finds it weird. De’Andre wished Rowan could be there for support. He is worried that Darion won’t like him.
During lunch with her mom and Daron, both are upset that De’Andre didn’t call her or or support her for her surgery.
Jacksonville, Florida, at April is back from California, she is so glad to be back, it was amazing. It is strange to see Loren move upstairs with the boys. She did mail her divorce papers to John but when she got them back he pretty much red lined the entire document. John is going to go over and talk, and hopefully reach an agreement so they can sign the divorce papers. April wants Roy there. April feels like a fool that she believed that John loved her. John arrives, he and April go outside to talk.
Atlanta, Georgia, we catch up with Caroline, Alex’s wife, Alex, and Stephen, Alex’s ex. Stephen has been bugging Alex every day to drop by and see Bowen, so finally he is. Caroline is not thrilled about it, she is just struggling to get through every day. Stephen brought a gift, its a breast pump. Alex thanks him for thinking about his wife’s breasts. Stephen gets to see Bowen, and to pick him up. Caroline is tired, she goes to bed and leaves Alex with Stephen.
John claims he only took one sentence out of the divorce papers, she tells him it was more than one and he can’t turn a legal document into something that he wants. He has his back up, he says have her lawyer change it then. She is asking for half of his retirement and he doesn’t want to give it. He tells her that he paid for everything in the house, he has paid the mortgage the last six years and he thinks that is a lot. She tells him that she will sign anything at this point, she just wants a divorce.
Catching up with Chelsea, Matt’s ex, Matt and Kenzie, Matt’s girlfriend. Matt is getting ready to propose, he has a few more details that he has to work on. Last night, Kenzie told him that Chelsea has to go and he can’t believe he has to deal with this. Matt thinks once Kenzie has the ring on her finger she will be fine. He goes upstairs to wake up Chelsea, he needs her help. He finds her gone, she up and left in the middle of the night. Kenzie arrives home and Matt tells her that Chelsea is gone. Kenzie checks the room and she is upset the condition that Chelsea left it in, but she is happy that she is gone.
Elodie is at lunch with her family when De’Andre arrives, three hours late, he is nervous because they haven’t met him before. Elodie’s brother, Anthony is there, he asks De’Andre straight up why he was late, and in the conversation he calls him a player. Anthony tells him that he is not ready for a relationship because he acts like a little boy, a man would have been on time.
April is still upset, she tells Loren that she will sign anything, she doesn’t care anymore. Meanwhile, Roy and John are outside talking and Roy finds out that April wants to take his retirement and doesn’t think she should do that. Roy confronts April and tells her that the only thing John wants is his retirement. April doesn’t want to talk because there are things in there that are private and she doesn’t want to discuss it with everyone else. April gives him the finger and goes back in the house.
Elodie’s mom and brother have no filter, her mom is next to ask questions and she asks why he left her alone, why he goes out alone without her. He says her ex-husband was there. She tells him that if thinks he can’t take care of her daughter and her grand-child, then speak up to stop causing her pain. Darion is next, and he tells De’Andre that he doesn’t want him around his child, it would be too hard if he were to break it off with Elodie.
