In tonight’s 9-1-1 Lone Star episode, the firefighters were dousing the propane tank from the train when rips developed in the supply line. They ran out of water. The fire consumed everything and an explosion occurred.

Plenty of people were nearby when it did. The ones that weren’t injured by the initial explosion were then caught up in the toxic chlorine cloud of death that came about because of it.

This included the stupid reporter that ignored Owen earlier. It also included Damon. Damon was the young kid that hitched a ride on the train. His car died on him. His brother was having surgery. His brother was his only family. He wanted to be there when his brother woke up and he thought the freight train was safe.

To be fair, the train was usually safe. It wasn’t this time because the conductor choked on a sandwich. He wasn’t even supposed to be eating. He caused this massive accident.

The concurrent deaths are on him. The conductor walked away with no injuries. The paramedics even saved him from the choking. He was going to be fine. Everyone else was evacuated. There was a elementary school less than two miles from the accident. The toxic cloud was heading in their direction. The stupid journalist managed to blindly walk all the way there.

She was dying. She couldn’t see. She grabbed a child with her infected hand. It burned the child and luckily he went back to the main building. The principle was notified about the evacuation.

She reported the burned child. She also quickly emptied the school. The principle didn’t believe the child when he said a monster burned him. She was preoccupied with everyone’s safety. This resulted in the reporter whose name is Trina going untreated. Her cameraman at least got transported to a hospital. Trina was going to die out there until someone listened to the boy.

The 126 took the lead at the accident site. Owen was looking to name a new lieutenant. He was looking to see who rise to the occasion tonight and his team kept surprising him. Marjan agreed to try and seal up the leak in the propane tank. She took serious risks. She also ignored orders to stand down when it was taking too long.

She claimed that her hazmat was holding up. Owen later learned that was a lie. The toxic cloud ate through her protective gear. She exposed herself to toxic gas. Owen told her to get in the next ambulance out of there only she plugged the leak.

There was still a death cloud. It just wasn’t going to get bigger thanks to Marjan. She might get promoted because of this. Marjan was about to leave when she and Paul noticed something.

They found Damon’s cap. They realized there was another person on the train when it crashed. They went looking for Damon. Marjan stayed at the scene in spite of her own pain to help look for this missing kid. Paul later found him thanks to hearing Damon’s phone. His brother was calling him to see where he was. Paul found Damon trapped under a lot of debris.

They radioed their captain for backup. It was going to be a process taking Damon out of there. Meanwhile Tommy got called to the elementary school to treat the burned child’s injuries. She heard his story about a monster. She realized someone was affected by the death cloud. They were in serious need of treatment.

Tommy didn’t want to leave until she found this person. Her team didn’t want to leave without her. They all stayed behind to find Trina. Firefighters at the scene didn’t stick around to help. They didn’t have hazmat suits and they wanted to avoid the death cloud.

Nancy managed to find Trina with barely any time to spare. They were moving fast out there at the same time the death cloud got closer. Tommy had called Carlos. She asked him to babysit her girls. Only he wasn’t needed. Carlos went over there to find Trevor had the whole thing in hand. Trevor and Tommy weren’t speaking.

They got engaged and then they got unengaged. Trevor couldn’t marry anyone without his ex-wife’s approval. It was written into their divorce agreement. Tommy was fine with being inspected. She drew the line at this woman inspecting her children.

Tommy has been ghosting Trevor since his ex’s wife asked to meet Tommy’s twins. Trevor showing up at her house unexpectedly probably won’t go well. He still did it because he had to try and fight for their relationship. She was the love of his life. He didn’t tell her about his ex’s conditions because he didn’t want to lose her.

Carlos helped him to see that its not over yet. Carlos also stopped Trevor from watching the news because loving a first responder was hard. Trina later died of her injuries. Tommy and her team were about to get caught up in the death cloud when it changed directions.

The wind shifted. It was great for the paramedics. It sucked for the firefighters. Owen had promised Damon’s brother that he was going to save Damon. It was going to take time and they ran out of that when the wind shifted. Owen ordered his team to leave without him. They reluctantly did so. Owen was going to die until Judd showed up.

Judd lend a helping hand in the new truck he drives. He got Owen and Damon out of there. Everyone got to go home safe that night. Tommy wasn’t even upset to find Trevor and Melody were at her house. She realized he was a priority. She was now willing to meet his ex-wife.

Judd returned to AFD as a probie. It was in the rules that he had to start from the bottom upon returning. Owen still needed to name a new lieutenant and Marjan withdrew from the competition.

She said it was Paul that found Damon’s cap. He’s the one that realize they were was an extra victim. He deserved the praise. Owen agreed with her. Paul was named the new lieutenant. And the 126 was reunited.

Owen also started to heal from his brother’s death.

THE END!
