In tonight’s 9-1-1: Lone Star episode, TK turned thirty. He had to work on his birthday. His friends and family still wanted to celebrate and so they brought the party to him. They celebrated at the station. Carlos was there. TK’s former stepfather even showed up.

He brought along TK’s half-brother. It was a real celebration. Or it would have been if Owen wasn’t so suspicious. Owen doesn’t like Enzo. He thought Enzo was a narcissist. He felt Enzo makes everything about him and that made him question Enzo’s gift. Enzo gifted TK a sportscar.

The car was amazing. TK would never have afforded one on his own. He was super grateful towards Enzo and he loved seeing both him and his brother. TK’s mom passed a couple of years ago. TK still misses her, but he’s glad he keeps her memory alive with his brother.

Its why he stayed in contact. He did this in spite of how his father feels about his stepfather. TK knows Owen can’t stand Enzo. Its why he didn’t tell him that invited Enzo down to Texas. TK also wasn’t sure if Enzo would make it because of his busy schedule.

Now that the other side of his family was in Texas, TK has to figure what to do with them. Owen was throwing a dinner party over the weekend at his house for TK. He agreed that Enzo and the kid could come. He said it wasn’t a big thing when really it was.

He wanted Enzo as far away as possible and life helped Owen get priorities back in order. The 126 was later called to a bridge. There was a woman named Isla. She was suicidal. She called the 911 dispatcher because she didn’t want to harm anyone when she jumped.

Isla got Wyatt when she called. Wyatt was a good person. He managed to talk her down. She no longer wanted to jump. Isla was pulling her back over the railing when she slipped. She was begging for help and that’s when the 126 showed. They rescued her.

She was finally going to get the help she needs. She thanked Wyatt for convincing her. His empathy saved a life that day. It also reminded Owen that his spat with Enzo was ridiculous. Owen set out to be nice to Enzo. It was working until they disagreed about a hand wrestling match.

The original match happened at TK’s bar mitzvah. The rematch happened at the dinner party. Enzo felt for sure he won the last match and so Owen didn’t feel the need to hold back like he used to. He easily won the re-do. He also seriously injured Enzo. Enzo’s wrist was broken.

There was a bone poking out. They had to call 911 for him. TK took his father to task for what he did. He said Enzo was a good guy. TK was angry at his dad for a long time after his parents split. It was Enzo who reminded him to show his father’s some grace.

TK credits Enzo for becoming a firefighter. Owen thought he was the reason. He was mad at Enzo because he felt Enzo tried to turn his son against him. Only Enzo was a better than that. He was supportive. He helped TK while he was struggling through addiction.

TK loves him. His dad should have made peace with that twenty years ago and he used way too much force during that match. Owen was going to have to apologize. He put that off for a while. He first responded to a call where a man got stuck in the tree.

The man was Will. He went up the tree to get a kite for his future stepdaughter. Will wanted little Rory’s blessing to marry her mom and he went up that tree to retrieve the kite so that he’d look like a hero. There was just one problem with him doing so.

He was deathly afraid of heights. He had to face his fears to come back down. He also injured his stomach. Rory watched them bring him down. She also gave Will her blessing to marry her mom. Her bio dad moved for a job and he rarely showed up. Will was more her dad than the other guy.

Owen realized then and there that he owed Enzo some kindness. An apology also wouldn’t hurt. Owen saw Enzo at TK’s big party at his apartment and they made peace. Enzo was the father TK needed when Owen fell apart. Owen was finally being nice to Enzo when suddenly the FBI raided the party.

Enzo was arrested for a slew of white collar offences. Enzo seemed like he knew that was coming and he still showed up in Texas anyways because he wanted to see TK before his arrest. And TK might lose his brand new car if the feds collect it.

While everything was happening, Tommy treated her cancer. She had a lump in her breast. It was Breast Cancer. She had Stage 2. They removed the lump and some lymph nodes during surgery. It was an outpatient procedure. The only person that knew about it was Nancy.

Nancy begged Tommy to take some time off to heal. Tommy refused to do that. She didn’t want anyone else knowing she had the cancer. She didn’t want to take time off. She acted like nothing happened and she was fine until she passed out at home. Her scared twins called 911.

They got Wyatt. Wyatt helped talk the twins through CPR. They kept Tommy alive until the ambulance showed up. The doctors later determined that she formed a blood clot from her surgery. Tommy was then forced to come clean with everyone. She told her girls first.

She told Judd. Judd called Nancy to the hospital and Tommy wasn’t looking good. She overexerted herself. Even her doctors were saying so. Nancy had been right when she tried to get Tommy to take it easy. And Tommy was finally listening.

Tommy was going to take time off. She was walking away from the 126. She wanted Nancy to replace her as acting captain and they talked about it at the hospital. Nancy eventually agreed to take the job, but it was only temporary until Tommy comes back.

THE END!
