Fox just released the first promo for 9-1-1: Lone Star, Season 5, and fans get a sneak peek at the next crisis, which involves a train derailment.
The 30-second video may be short, but it offers a ton of insight on what viewers should expect come the next season, as the members of 126 spring into action.
9-1-1: Lone Star, Season 5: It’s Been A Long Time Coming
Fans of 9-1-1: Lone Star have had to wait quite a while for Season 5, as Season 4 wrapped up in May 2023. Sadly, due to the writers’ and actors strikes, production was halted for several months.
It was believed that Season 5 would premiere in the spring of 2024, with 12 new shows; however, for one reason or another, Fox delayed this until fall. The silver lining in all this is that while it has been a long wait, the preview proves it’ll be worth it all.
9-1-1: Lone Star, Season 5: It’s Been A Long Time Coming
According to reports, Season 5 will look a little different, as OG cast member Sierra McClain will not return as Grace Ryder. Still, looks like other series regulars will be back, including Rob Lowe (Owen Strand), Ronen Rubinstein (T.K. Strand), Jim Parrack (Judd Ryder), Natacha Karam (Marjan Marwani), Brian Michael Smith (Paul Strickland), Rafael Silva (Carlos Reyes), Julian Works (Mateo Chavez), Brianna Baker (Nancy Gillian), and Gina Torres (Tommy Vega).
In addition, rumors continue to buzz that this could be 9-1-1: Lone Star’s final season, but nothing has been confirmed about the 9-1-1 spinoff yet. Fans know that the show’s parent series, 9-1-1, was renewed for Season 8; however, it relocated to ABC.
As of this writing, 9-1-1: Lone Star’s Season 5 premiere date hasn’t been released, but new shows will air on Mondays at 8 p.m. EST, leading into Rescue: HI-Surf, the new lifeguarding series set to debut in the fall on Fox.
