In tonight’s American Ninja Warrior episode, it was another night in Las Vegas. They were at Stage 3. There was a million dollars on the line if they survive this stage and someone had to win it.

Up first was Josiah Pippel. He was a teenager. He was only eighteen, but he was also a strong ninja. He’s been competing for the past three years. He made it to this stage once before. He lost out to someone else back then and he was ready for a comeback tonight. He just struggled with that comeback. He stumbled through the second obstacle. He took extra turns. It cost him in upper body strength and that resulted him in falling on the new obstacle.

Why were there new obstacles at Stage 3? It turns out ANW kept wanting to raise the stakes. The newest obstacle was called Pizza Party and Josiah fell because of this obstacle. No one has had a chance to train on it. It proved to be Goliath tonight. Next up was Kyle Soderman. He was a stuntman for movies and music videos. He’s been to Stage 3 twice. He’s always fallen. It’s been a curse for him. He wanted to make it tonight and he ended up falling on the Ultimate Cliffhanger. His curse remained very much alive. Hopefully, he’ll break it one day and until then it was Sean Bryan’s turn on the course.

Sean was known as the Papal Ninja. He works for the Catholic Church. He was also the oldest contestant in Stage 3 tonight at thirty-nine. He was a great ninja. The last time he was at Stage 3 was six years ago. He’s been working to getting back into shape ever since then. He was known to fall on the Ultimate Cliffhanger and so that was his toughest obstacle. Only he managed to survive it tonight. He moved past his worst obstacle to come across the Pizza Party. And it was the Pizza Party that made him fall.

The Pizza Party was proving to be the most difficult obstacle tonight. It tested everyone. Next up was Caleb Bergstrom. He was one of the infamous Bergstroms. The family were elite ninjas. They ran their own ninja gym. Caleb was also married to another ninja and they were expecting their first child. It was a boy. They were going to need lots of money for it and so a million dollars could come in handy right about now. Caleb made it all the way to Stage 4 last season. He climbed the rope and he wasn’t as fast as the winner at the time.

Caleb was lucky in the sense that he gets better with every season. That’s what was on show tonight. He was the first to survive Pizza Party. He managed to wrap up Stage 3 with time to spare. He was the first tonight to make it to Stage 4. Next up was Sam Folsom. He was dating another ninja. He and his girlfriend won the Couples Ninja Championship earlier this year. He’s had a strong run this whole season and its led to him at Stage 3. It was his first time at Stage 3. He sadly fell on Pizza Party. And that was it for him this season.

Next up was Austin Gray. He was a seven time veteran. He’s made it to this stage a couple of times. He was also retiring this season and so he wanted to finish it out with a high. He’s had a great season. Don’t know how he’ll leave the ninja world behind. Austin was dating a fellow ninja. He was best friends with ninjas. He used to live with a bunch of them at one time. He was so tied into everything that it was going to leave a gaping hole when he left. It was also sad that his dream tonight didn’t come true because of the dreaded Pizza Party.

Austin fell on that obstacle. It’s taken out several ninjas. It was literally the worst. Next up was Nacssa Garemore. He was a top ninja at just sixteen years old. He hasn’t been doing this long. He made it to Stage 3 on his freshman season. He continued the trend with his sophomore season. In addition to ninja, he now plays basketball as well. He and his brother were originally from Africa. They were adopted by a loving family stateside and watching ANW helped them adapt. They joined the ninja community. They easily made friends. They were now some of the strongest ninjas anyone has ever seen.

Nacssa flew through Stage 3 tonight. He made everything look easy. He completed obstacles that took down some of the best and he ultimately became the second person tonight heading into Stage 4. Next up was Jackson Twait. He was known as the Cat Daddy because he loves his cat. He was one of the Iowa ninjas. They were great ninjas. They all came out to support Jackson tonight and they watched him get defeated by Pizza Party. It really wasn’t fair that they introduced a new obstacle at such an important stage. It was already difficult enough.

Noah Meunier. He was new to this. He’s had a great season as a good ninja. He was another one dating a fellow ninja. His girlfriend actually won the women’s championship recently. He wanted to make her proud and he did that tonight. He became one of the few ninjas to survive Stage 3. He hit the buzzer. He was going to Stage 4. Next up was Joe Moravsky. He was an elite ninja. He has hit more buzzers than anyone else in Ninja history and yet he’s never made it to Stage 4 before. He has this bad habit at falling on Stage 3.

It’s the one thing that keeps tripping him up. He’s been on the show for eleven seasons and he’s made it to Stage 3 six times. He’s gotten married since he first started doing this. He has kids that grew up on the sidelines of ANW. He’s been doing this so long that he should have easily made it to Stage 4. Instead, he fell one move away from the buzzer. He was so close that he could have angled his body and made it to the buzzer rather than fall. He couldn’t do it and his own wife nearly passed out from the shock.

Then along came Vance Walker. He was born with cerebral palsy. He managed to overcome that to gain full mobility and he followed that up by becoming a ninja. He won last season. He received the million dollar prize. He was back to win another million dollars and it helped that he figured out Pizza Party early on. He swiftly moved past that obstacle. He went back to obstacles he was familiar with. He soon defeated everything in his way and hit his latest buzzer. The teenager was onto Stage 4 again.

There were five ninjas going into Stage 4. One of them being Kai Beckstrand (sorry he wasn’t mentioned earlier). The five had to climb miles long rope in under thirty seconds. The ninja with the fastest time wins the million dollars and Vance has already proved he could do this. Kai was the first to climb the rope. He couldn’t make it up the rope in thirty seconds because he wasted most of his upper body strength on the climb. He really should have used his legs. He’ll probably work on that for next season. The next ninja to make the climb was Nacssa.

Nacssa also used up his upper body strength. He ran out of time and was left disappointed this season, but he will come back stronger than ever. The third ninja to make the climb was Vance. Vance was a little bit slower on the climb this season. He still finished it within thirty seconds. He just wasn’t as fast as he was last season. The fourth ninja to make the climb was Caleb. Caleb learned from his mistake last season. He went on to finish with a great time. Was it enough to beat Vance’s time? Sadly, it wasn’t. He was beaten by a few seconds.

And then it was Noah’s turn. He was the last ninja to climb. He ran out of time climbing up the rope and so the million dollar prize once again went to Vance Walker. Vance won two years back to back. The millionaire was considering buying a house.

THE END!
