In tonight’s AGT episode, it was another night of the Auditions! Up first was Cassius Whitehead. He was five years old. He was a little nervous at first when he was talking and the nerves disappeared completely once he sat down at drums. He was a great drummer. He has a real talent. He also had an amazing idea of what to do with the money. He would buy two hundred bags of slime to play with. Heidi correctly guessed that he wanted to make fart noises with them. Cassius showed off great skill and he was rewarded for that with the first four yesses of the night.

There was a band that came up next. The band was called Ashes & Arrows. They write songs together. They wrote the original song “Born to Love”. It was an uplifting song. It was also rather beautiful. The three members of the band all sounded great together. It had been clear that they’d been working on their performances for years. One of them had even been hoping to perform in front of Simon since he was a kid. They sounded great. The audience loved it. Howie not so much. He said it would sound nice at a bar. Not at a concert.

The other judges loved it. They liked the band. The band managed to win over Simon. He was usually the toughest critic. Tonight, that title ended up going to Howie. Heidi, Sofia, and Simon gave them yesses. Howie was the sole no. The band was still moving on to the next round only someone needed to wow Howie. He was waiting on an act to be better than last year’s performances. Did he get that with the next act? Yes, he did. The next act were the Hakuna Matata Acrobats. They were from Tanzania.

They make their living as acrobats. They take big risks to receive great rewards. They pulled off some dangerous stunts. It was a miracle no one was hurt, but it was amazing to watch. It managed to move Howie. Howie used the words “unbelievable” for the acrobats. He loved everything about this performance. The other judges were just as impressed as him. They all loved the act. They gave it the second round of four yesses.

Next up was a dancer. His name was Alex Zinger. He used to dance as a back up dancer in the nineties to a lot of familiar faces. He also performed on MTV. Anyways, it’s been a few years since then. He got married. He became a dad. MTV wasn’t even showing off music much less dance moves nowadays. It just didn’t stop Alex. Alex still has a love for dance. He put his whole heart into his performance and within seconds the judges started pressing the rejection button. He was sweet. He simply wasn’t a good dancer anymore.

The other two judges joined in with the rejection party. That proved to be it for Alex. They all gave him a “no”. He has to take his dancing shoes elsewhere. Next up was the Otama Collective. They were from different spots all across the US. They claimed they were also classically trained musicians. They played something that looked like a flute and sounded like a plunger. They decorated their musical instruments to look like the judges. They left out Simon. Simon naturally returned the insult with a reject button. They all ended up pressing their rejection button.

After that, there was another musical act. The performer’s name is Nini. She was a full-time musician. She played traditional Chinese instruments and she wanted to bring that to an American stage. She performed an original song. She rocked it out with her old world instruments. She has a great stage presence. She looked like a Chinese Van Halen according to Howie. They all enjoyed the act. They gave her four yesses after two rejections back to back. She might very well have ended a curse tonight.

Next up was Liv Warfield. She was a singer. She was from Chicago. She sings a little bit of everything. She also writes her own material and that’s why she was ready for her moment to shine. She sang as a backup singers to many great artists. It paid the bills. She ain’t knocking it. She just wanted to have her own moment. She performed her original big band number. Her voice took everyone by surprise because Simon had a look of pure stumped on his face. He loved the performance so much that he gave Liv a golden buzzer. She was now going straight to the live shows.

Up next was Kat and Jay. They were a micro duo. They were originally from Brazil. They drove around on a unicycle and it was so boring that four judges pressed the reject button. They told the duo to come back once they perfected their craft. Once the duo was done, there was a dance team from Japan. They’ve been together dancing as a group for over ten years. They’ve lost a member or two. They also picked up a few members. The core has been together for ten years. They didn’t have a name or at least they didn’t mention one because they were just so excited.

The dance group were precise. They were perfect in everything they did. They were amazing to watch. The judges were even impressed. They said wow as they watched these girls danced. They instantly got four yesses from the judges. Next up was Phil Lewis. His mom was his biggest supporter. She encouraged him to find the things he was great at and that turned out to be the baton. Phil was great with the baton. He twirled it with all his might. And he did some gymnastic movements while he at it.

Phil loved that baton. That baton loved him back. He received four yesses after a stellar performance. Next up was Gung Bao. He was from Vietnam. He works as a driver to support his family. He was a daredevil. He literally stuck knives in his own nostrils. He scared everyone watching. He went on to do scarier things and it ended with a standing ovation of everyone that wasn’t repulsed. Sofia didn’t stand though. She said she hopes his mother never see this act and so Gung said that his mother approved of everything.

Gung Bao received enough yesses to move onto the next round. Sofia might not be able to handle a second performance from him. Up next was a group of guys called Sky Elements. They were from Dallas. They brought something that’s never been seen before. It was so big that the building alone wasn’t big enough. They had to go outside. They prepared outside for their act. Everyone headed outside. They witnessed hundreds of drones flying. They were operated by the group. The drones drew out a rocket ship and the ship even launched.

The drones were amazing. What they did has never been done before. It was so unique that it impressed the judges. They showed a spaceman version of Simon. They spelled out AGT. They had to get the Golden Buzzer. It just wouldn’t have made sense without it. Simon gave them that and Howie pointed out he already used up his one. This meant the rules had to be rewritten so that the other judges also get two golden buzzers. Meaning there’s more golden buzzers on the line this season.

THE END!
