In tonight’s America’s Got Talent episode, Terry had the last Golden Buzzer left tonight. Only this show was full of surprises. There was an extreme pongo team that rides pongo sticks that they made to give them much a bigger jump. They wanted to take their “sport” mainstream. They all did amazing things up in the air. It had sounded stupid and it wasn’t that at all. It was actually pretty interesting. They won four yesses.

The next act was a group of men from Russia. They’ve known each other since childhood. They now perform and they make a living from their performances. They pulled off feats of strength. They were acrobatic. And everyone felt for the guy at the bottom with everyone’s weight on his shoulders.

There was no easy part in that group. The Russians got four yesses as well. The guys were bringing their best to the show tonight. That is until they met Brock Papers IWO. They thought they would get an amazing show from him because he claimed to be an athlete. He said he dreamt of the Olympics. He claimed he had to pull out of the Olympics thanks to an injury and so that left everyone confused. Because if he couldn’t do this at the Olympics, was it safe to do it at AGT? The audience was pondering that when they saw IWO’s act.

It was so stupid that Simon had a slack jaw at the start. IWO wasn’t a real gymnast. His act was more comedy than gymnastics. It was so stupid that the audience kinda liked it. The same goes for the judges. They weren’t sure what they were looking at in the beginning. They were just so stunned that no one pressed their reject button. IWO proved to be a whole team of performers. They all received four yesses for brining Japanese humor to a next level. And so that proves there’s space for everyone on AGT.

Next up was Haley Viloria. She fell in love with the circus as a kid. She knew then that’s what she wanted to do with her life and she pursued it. She’s now a full-time circus performer. She was also a coach. She was an amazing acrobat. She was an aerial performer. She was bold. She was pretty. There was no downside to her act. It looked dangerous as well as beautiful. She did a lot in spite of being self-taught. It wasn’t enough to move Howie. Howie gave her a no. The other three judges gave her a yes and so she’s moving onto the next round.

Kelsey Jane was next. She was from Texas originally. She now lives in Las Vegas. She was another aerialist. She did that on the side while her day job was her being a dentist. She didn’t have a nice smile as a kid. She had to get braces. It fixed her teeth and gave her the confidence she needed to smile. She now passes that onto her patients. She helps build their confidence. Some of them even know about her aerial work. She put on quite a show tonight. It was beautiful and moving. Howie performed her performance over that of Haley’s.

She got four yesses. She’ll probably keep getting them. Next up was Journeyy. He was a nine year old little boy. He was adorable. He was also a singer. He makes videos of himself performing. Well, Simon’s good friend found that video. He passed onto Simon. Simon was going to pass it to the production team when they told him that they had already reached out to Journeyy. Journeyy ended up on the show. He performed his original song “Paradise”. It sounded amazing. He was so sweet as well. The judges handled with him care and he showed unforgettable talent.

Journeyy was a great find. He also got four yesses. Next up was Alejandro Lesaya. He’s from Cuba. He loves it there and he was hoping to win in order to support his family. He was very much a mama’s boy. His skill was as a daredevil. He pulled off acrobatics moves on rolling pieces of equipment. He had a near miss several times. It was a miracle he didn’t break his neck, but he got to the audience all the same. He won four yesses for keeping the judges on their toes. Simon later said that there was something in the air this season because everyone he’s seen has been good tonight.

Jonathan Burns was next. He was a magician. He was also a comedian. He was very funny. He was just naturally funny. He wasn’t trying or anything and he still had the audience laughing. Jonathan was a married father of two. He’s been with his wife since high school. They’ve been together for twenty-five years. They have young children. Jonathan was often on the road a lot and so he had to parent over the phone. He fixes math problems with texts. He was teaching violin over facetime. He easily won three yesses from the judges for off-brand humor.

Next up was Air Footworks. They were from Japan. Kenichi, who won AGT, was actually their mentor. He was there that day to watch them perform. They were a dance group. They also threw in acrobatics into it. They looked really cool during their performance. They did a little bit of everything. They even got the wow factor because the audience actually said “wow”. They did so well that the judges were tuned all the way in. The judges gave them four yesses for an unforgettable routine.

Then along comes Corky Miller. She was from Tennessee. She trains animals for movies and television. She also rescued animals. She has them on her farm. She also has a pet rat named Simon. She said upfront that she was still trying comedy at this stage. She’s done children shows. She’s made her friends laugh. Only she was a funny person. Her sweet face could go raunchy in under a minute. She made everyone laugh. And that won her four yesses from the judges.

Sophie performed tonight. She went next. She was Irish. She was fourteen. She was also a singer. She performed “Do You Believe” by Cher. The audience loved it. The judges not so much. They told her to set her eyes on Broadway because she has a theatrical voice. Next up was Brooke Bailey. She was nineteen. She was studying Music at college. She works at Studio Fitness to afford schooling costs. She was another singer only everyone felt the soul she put into her performance. She performed “Aint No Way”.

Brooke has such a great voice that she quickly won over everyone. Including Simon! They gave her four yesses for a stellar performance. Next up was Nick. Nick wanted to beat a world record of most underwear on in thirty seconds. He was from Australia. He was completely unserious as a person. His act was so stupid that the audience knew it was stupid. Nick didn’t break the record of doing that tonight. He then tried to break another record. He asked the audience to all wear underwear on their head to be the largest gathering of underwear as headgear.

The audience was happy to play along. Simon wasn’t enthused as they were. He had to be talked into it and he eventually wore one. They had to wear it for a full minute and that record Nick did beat. AGT went into the world record book tonight. Nick however did not make into the next round.

THE END!
