On tonight’s America’s Got Talent, it’s the Finals! It was a live show tonight. Everyone had to be on their best. The remaining acts were finally fighting for the million dollars and everything they did tonight counted because this time it was out of the judges’ hands.

America got to decide the winner. It was America that will be voting. Most of the acts have a strong fanbase, but maintaining that fanbase over weeks on end was stuff meant for the pros.

They had to fight for that fanbase tonight and only then would they win. The first act up tonight was Hakuna Matata Acrobats.

Hakuna Matata Acrobats received the Golden Buzzer in the Quarterfinals. They got it from Sofia. It allowed them to skip the Semifinals and go straight into the Finals.

However, this acrobatic group from Tanzania were highly skilled. They earned their place tonight. They always put their best foot forward.

They up the ante with each performance and they’ve been working on their routine for tonight for a while seeing as the proof was in the pudding. It was flawless. They had a perfect performance.

It was a miracle no one was hurt because their work was completely dangerous and so it’s a good thing that it all paid off tonight.

Howie’s jaw dropped when he saw their final move. They got standing ovations from three judges. Simon sat that one out only that doesn’t mean he hated it. He didn’t speak against it. He also clapped for them.

He simply wasn’t someone to stand willy nilly. Music was more of his field. He got lucky when the next act up turned out to Dee Dee Simon.

She was a singer from Oakland, California. She also received a Golden Buzzer in Quarterfinals thanks to the sheer brilliance of her talent. She was an amazing singer.

Dee Dee could have played it safe. She chose to instead go a different route. She decided to tackle an extremely difficult song tonight. She chose “Take Me To Church” by Hozier. Only she turned it into a gospel song. Her rendition was true to her style. She also clearly had fun with it and had even kicked off her shoes at one point. Dee gave tonight’s performance her everything. She didn’t hold herself back. She connected with the audience and hopefully that same audience will remember to vote for her.

In between the performances tonight, NBC did a lot of promos. They had Carson Daily there to promote “The Voice” which is coming back this fall. They also played practically jokes on each other. Howie called up an old friend and he then had this friend annoy the living daylights out of the other judges. Howie was a menace. It figures that he would think of that. Back to the show, Sebastián & Sonia were up next. They also received a Golden Buzzer. This was important because Sonia had injured her arm. Sebastián had to perform without her and he managed to still earn them a spot in the Finals.

Sonia got to heal up. She was back in fighting form and was again performing with Sebastián tonight. The aerial duo were from Spain. They weren’t married, but Sonia was reconsidering that stance. She loved how supportive Sebastián was while she was healing. They also were great together in every sense of the word. Their unique form of acrobatics was beautiful and sensual. It was a sight to see. It was very Las Vegas worthy. The judges and the crowd were all singing their praises tonight. And hey they got Simon to stand for a standing ovation.

Brent Street were up next. They were a dance group from Australia. They were another Golden Buzzer. There was a good portion of tonight’s performers that have received at least one Golden Buzzer. Which meant it was the best of the best tonight. Brent Street was great and very artistic. Their choreography was so on point that their choreographer got a shout out from Howie. He called her the best in the game. The dancers themselves were also perfect. Tonight was their best performance. The night was halfway over and none had made a mistake.

All the way from Portugal, Solange Kardinaly was up next. She came back with her special branch of magic. Solange was a Quick Change Artist. It really was magical because there’s no explanation on how she’s able to do it. She was also the best the show has ever seen at this talent. She really does wow people. Its hard to explain. People just have to see it for themselves. It should be up on YouTube soon. If not this performance, her previous ones are up and they’re all entertaining. Solange was genuinely one of a kind.

Next up was Learnmore Jonasi. He was a comedian from Zimbabwe originally. He now lives in the States. He was also another Golden Buzzer. He was a funny guy. He managed to bring back a sense of joy and humor that was lacking in today’s world. He had everyone laughing tonight. He always had everyone smiling and Terry doesn’t regret his Golden Buzzer at all. He was super proud of Learnmore. A sentiment that was shared by everyone who watched his act. And he was followed by another Golden Buzzer.

AIRFOOTWORKS was up next. They were an air dance group from Japan. Their skillset didn’t need the full stage only it was just as impactful. Their choreography was also amazing. They looked great. It was fun in some parts and beautiful in others. It was very moving to watch. The audience seemed to love it. The judges were kind. Was it enough to make it in Las Vegas? Maybe. It just couldn’t beat Richard Goodall’s voice. He was a Golden Buzzer as well. The janitor from Indiana came back tonight with his rendition of “Faithfully”.

Richard really connected to the song. The audience could hear how emotional he was. He has such a classic voice that he could do anything with it and it was very clear how much this all meant to him. He was a standout in a night full of talent. Even if he doesn’t win, he still deserves to have his own stage. Richard’s stellar performance was followed by Roni Sagi & Rhythm. They were a dog act. Rhythm was the dog. He managed to learn choreography and he dances with his owner, Roni. It sounds strange but that dog knows how to follow a beat.

Seeing was believing with Rhythm and Roni. They were such a fun act. It also helps that last season’s winner was another dog act and so these two couldn’t be counted out. The highlight of the night however was Sky Elements. They were another Golden Buzzer. They were a drone show from Texas. Their act was something that’s never been displayed on the show before. They would tell these in-depth shows with lights in the sky. It was perhaps the only act tonight that was bigger than the Las Vegas stage.

They also showed off a great amount of patriotism. They had the American flag on display. They spoke of the American dream and this was “America’s Got Talent” after all. The drones made a great case for originality.

And that was it for the night.

THE END!
