Beyond the Gates (BTG) just put out a preview video that offers a first look at the newest CBS soap, so let’s talk about all the action. The show will officially become part of the network’s daytime lineup starting February 24, so it won’t be long until some hot drama erupts!
The promo kicks off by featuring the gated community that the soap’s title promises.
Someone can be seen in a luxury car as they enter the gate – and then there’s a fancy table that’s set and reserved for the Duprees.
Of course, the Duprees are the family that basically rules this wealthy Maryland community.
We’re talking about some very rich and powerful people, so there’s going to be trouble for those who get on their bad side!
Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) is the matriarch of the Dupree family and can be seen shedding her coat in the preview video as well.
Based on her whole vibe, Anita is the most important person in any room she walks into.
One of Anita’s daughters, Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix), can also be seen approaching her mother, so these two may put their heads together for some plotting.
Fairmont Crest is the prominent country club that’ll be featured heavily in Beyond the Gates, which promises to deliver some unraveling secrets and explosive moments.
One of those explosive moments offers the biggest shocker of the promo since Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) can be seen unleashing her wrath on her ex-husband.
Dani takes a golf club to Bill Hamilton’s (Timon Durrett) desk and flings everything off it before smashing the club down in fury.
It’s easy to see that Dani does NOT have a good relationship with her former flame!
In fact, Beyond the Gates spoilers hint that Dani views her criminal defense attorney ex-hubby as nothing but a narcissistic publicity hound.
Bill will have to deal with Dani’s dramatic display and whatever complaints she brings to the table, so it sounds like some great stuff’s on the way!
The show offered another mini teaser on Instagram, which hints that things are about to get messy just before Dani once again throws something in a fit of rage.
