It was the first Eviction night of the season! BB AI has changed the game. Those up on the chopping block can now participate in the Eviction Arena. There was also three of them and they were all men tonight thanks to Angela. Angela was the first HOH. She let power get to her.
She became arrogant. She felt everyone has to pay her attention. She only went after Matt on the backend because he didn’t hug her after the nomination ceremony.
She was that arrogant. Her own alliance that she built no longer trusts her. They think she’s too crazy to work with. And it won’t be long before her own name gets nominated.
Angela was safe for now. Though she won’t be safe after the ceremony. Something she should have remembered before she blew up in the kitchen and in front of everyone.
Matt was going around the house. He was talking to people. He was milking the sympathy vote for all that he could. He even approached Quinn. Quinn was in an alliance with Kimo. Kimo was also up on the block. Quinn was tight with Angela until she blew up their alliance. The only reason Quinn hasn’t fully turned on her was because he told her a secret.
Quinn didn’t want his secret power getting out. He also didn’t want to be against the majority. Matt was for sure a threat. He could dominate the physical challenges. He was also handsome. He used that to win people over. He was building up a stronger alliance with Cam, Brooklyn, Leah, Makensy, and Cedric.
Kenney was on that same chopping block and he wasn’t reaching out to these people. Kenney was someone that wanted Matt to stay in the game. They built a bond and Kenney felt sorry for the kid after the whole Angela thing.
Matt was calling his new alliance “the Barbershop”. Kenney was watching them. He didn’t try to interrupt. He didn’t try to make his own case. He also didn’t want to fight in the Eviction Arena.
He was just going to roll over and let Matt win. He told Angela that Matt was his boy. She tried to reason with him. She just didn’t have a leg to stand on after her crazy was revealed. She tried to tell Kenney that Matt wasn’t his son. They’ve known each other for barely a week. And Kenney was ignoring her because Matt seemed like a good kid to him.
Matt has told people that his first objective would be to go after Angela. He said he’d easily nominate her for the next eviction and he spoke of it as if he had already won the challenge.
Matt was a little too confident. It probably wasn’t helped by everyone propping him up. Matt, a reluctant Kenney, and Kimo later went into the Eviction Arena. They played against each other for one last chance off the chopping block. The winner of the first Eviction Arena was Kimo. Kimo was now off the block. And Matt was going against Kenney.
Matt and Kenney liked each other. They have great respect for each other. They bonded on night one. Kenney didn’t want to compete against Matt. Matt didn’t want to hurt Kenney. When Kim was revealed to be safe, the houseguests learned it was now Kenney against Matt.
Angela was the happiest that Kimo was safe. She thought now was the time to get out Matt. Matt and Kenney were given sixty seconds to make their case. They didn’t try to sink the other person. They actually spoke of their great respect for each other.
Matt pointed a finger at Angela for disturbing the peace. Only that wasn’t too bad. He could have said worse. The houseguests were allowed to make their vote. There were some that voted Kenney. There were some that voted Matt. Matt’s alliance even voted against him.
Cam turned on him. Rubina turned on him. Even Brooklyn voted against him. Cedric and Chelsie couldn’t vote this week. The votes were tallied and Matt was evicted tonight. He lost by eight to two. Makensy took that the hardest because she had really cared for him.
Before leaving, Matt promised to stay in touch with Makensy. They apparently made a plan for one them to move to the other’s city. They may have had a week together, but they seem to have developed real feelings for each other. Makensy was heartbroken when he left.
She cried. Matt had to hold her for a minute before reaffirming they’ll be in Dallas together. Matt then left the house. He had his eviction interview with Julie Chen. She reminded him that he made Angela see him as a threat when he essentially told her he wouldn’t get evicted if she nominated him.
Matt said the whole experience will help him grow as a person. He also claimed he wasn’t threatening Angela. That he merely misspoke. And he kept up that charm defense even after he left the house tonight.
THE END!
