After weeks of wondering, Chicago PD fans finally have a solid date for the Season 12 premiere. While there are still some weeks before the big day, the show’s new season will start on the same date as the other One Chicago shows (Chicago Med and Chicago Fire).

Chicago PD Season 12: See You In September …
NBC officially announced that Chicago PD’s, along with Chicago Med and Chicago Fire, new season will premiere on Wednesday, September 25. The three shows will have the same timeslots as fans have grown accustomed to over the years, which means, Chicago Med will air at 8 p.m. (ET) that night, Chicago Fire will air at 9 p.m. (ET), and Chicago PD will round up the night, airing at 10 p.m. (ET).
The good news is that if you haven’t already caught up on the past episodes of Chicago PD’s Season 11 (or any of the One Chicago shows), you still have time to do so before the new season hits. All past episodes of the series are currently streaming on Peacock.
“Chicago PD”, Season 12: What Fans Can Expect
Season 11 saw Hailey Upton (Tracy Spiridakos) exit the show, with questions about where she was headed. Will fans find out where she landed? Plus, could Season 12 introduce her replacement, and will that be someone viewers are familiar with or a brand-new character?
In other news, viewers want to see if a Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Adam Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) wedding will finally come to fruition. Showrunner Gwen Sigan recently hinted to TVLine that Season 12 is where this could all happen, stating (about the wedding), “I’m excited to figure out all of that.”
Then there’s Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), who may struggle with opening up again during Season 12, as he lost so many he was close to last season. Will he keep in contact with Upton? Is there a chance she could come back to the show at some point, even for a guest appearance?
