In tonight’s CSI:Vegas episode, Josh Folsom was looking back at his life while he was being driven to prison. He remembered his final moments with his mother. His anger with her when she started using again. He remembered how angry he was after she died. He remembered a torturing a man for information.

However, he was living in the past. He wasn’t talking to anyone in the present. He wasn’t denying the charges. He said he has to wait for his attorney before he could talk to the cops or even his boss. He also tried to push away his friends. Allie was the first to visit him in prison. She asked him about Trey because she suspected Trey was the one that actually committed the murder Josh was being accused of.

The police believed Josh killed Kahn Schefter. Schefter was in fact the man that murdered Josh’s mom. Josh has every reason to want him dead and he doesn’t have an alibi.

However, Allie was the one that asked about Trey because she thinks Trey might have done this. Josh had bailed Trey out of jail earlier that day. He hasn’t been in contact with his foster brother since then. He also refused to discuss him with Allie. He knew why she was asking him about Trey. He wasn’t going to help her get him out of prison if it meant Trey goes back inside.

Josh hadn’t seen Trey since they parted away at that hanger. He had no idea that Trey went on to steal expensive cars. He stole it from a scary guy and so no good will come of that.

Trey purposely crashed the stolen car into a frozen yogurt shop. Except it wasn’t a real frozen yogurt shop. It was a front for drug dealers looking to sell every drug imaginable. Trey was going after the drug dealers responsible for the death of Josh’s mom. He was sending them a message with that car that he was going to destroy everything of theirs.

The man calling the shots was Raphael Tarquinio. He was the big drug boss. He was the scary man that Trey stole from and he lost a lot of product when Trey used the car to bomb out the fake store front.

Trey was poking the lion with that. He didn’t know that Josh was in prison. Thereby making him vulnerable. He’s been calling him and calling him hoping to hear from him. And he gets nothing. It wasn’t until Detective Serena Chavez located him to tell him what happened that Trey realized they were in big trouble. Bigger than the drug dealer kind of trouble.

Trey didn’t want Josh to go to prison for something he did. The detective made him see that. Trey later turned himself in and he confessed to Schefter’s murder.

After Josh heard what his brother did, he too confessed to murder. They were both trying to take the blame. They didn’t want the other to go to jail for the crime. There was also footage working against them. They had questioned Schefter in the drug dealer’s hanger. Therefore, Tarquinio now has footage of the two men dragging the Schefter to the hanger and when they left.

If the cops wanted to see more, they now have to play by Tarquinio’s rules. Tarquinio felt very disrespected after the cops searched his home and questioned his nephew. He gave them enough to take down Josh as well as Trey. The CSI team refused to believe Josh was responsible for murder. They looked at the evidence.

They tested everything that was in the dumpster when Schefter died. They noticed that a lot of them got teary-eyed going through the dumpster. It was because of the last liquid found on Schefter’s remains.

Schefter had been drugged with capsaicin. It was a purified version of hundreds of the world’s spiciest peppers turned into liquid form. It would be like burning on the inside.

It was so strong that it left a mark in the victim’s veins. They checked the victim for it. They found the capsaicin in his blood. It reminded Catherine Willows of when she was at the drug dealer’s home. She saw his nephew eating a bunch of these peppers. She then realized he was destroying evidence. She got another warrant to go back to Tarquinio’s house.

There they found the chair that the victim had been tied to. They also didn’t find the nephew. He was on the run and there’s no telling where he went. At least according to his uncle. His nephew works for him. He nephew probably killed the guy to clean up after his uncle. Only the nephew later turned up at the police station. He turned himself in for murder. He claims he acted alone and so his uncle gets to walk. And now there’s no telling what Josh might do to finally bring down Tarquinio.

Max wasn’t ready to forgive Josh just yet. She was going to need time and thankfully Penny getting engaged helped her to end her day on a happy note.

But Trey went back to prison for a short stint. Before he left, Josh talked to him. Josh told him he owes him one.

THE END!
