As there will be an explosion that involves an underground tunnel, there’s also a chance that the underground structure could collapse at some point, leaving the lives of some major characters in limbo.
Perhaps this is what the cliffhanger will center around as the show wraps up. Maybe at some point in the future, one of the characters will end up on another CSI sister show to add insight into how things ended up unfolding.
Sure, it’s sad that this is the “end all and be all” of CSI: Vegas; however, there is also always that glimmer of hope that the show gets picked up by another network or streaming platform. Only time will tell!
