Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings – Stephen Schnetzer Returns as Steve Olson – Tate Swap Explained

Days of Our Lives Comings and Goings – Stephen Schnetzer Returns as Steve Olson – Tate Swap Explained

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that we’ve got some comings and goings news to share, so let’s start with an exciting return. Stephen Schnetzer is set to make a DOOL comeback, so look for him to reprise the role of Steve Olson this fall.

Schnetzer confirmed to The Locher Room that he’d be flying out to Los Angeles soon and that he’d been asked to play Steve Olson again for a brief stint.

Steve is Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) brother and was portrayed by Schnetzer from 1978-1980.

Now Schnetzer is returning as Steve for a couple episodes, so this could be a sign that Days’ tribute for Bill Hayes (Doug Williams) is about to be filmed.

Will Steve come home to support Julie as she faces the loss of Doug and prepares for his funeral?

In other comings and goings news, Natasha Hall (temporary Sloan Petersen-Brady) has wrapped her own recent stint.

Hall filled in for Jessica Serfaty as Sloan during Jude Brady’s christening festivities, but Serfaty will be back on-screen in Salem during the week of April 1-5.

The week ahead will also bring some new scenes featuring Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton) since Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) will pay Lucas another visit and vow to make sure he comes home soon.

Lucas doesn’t seem to be in any real danger anymore now that Clyde Weston (James Read) is on the run, so he can come out of hiding.

Kate will want to make sure Lucas is a free man instead of being stuck at the monastery or back in prison.

Other Days spoilers say a Tate Black actor swap is on the way, so we should talk about how it’ll all go down.

Jamie Martin Mann will thankfully get to play Tate’s long-awaited release and have some final scenes with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien).

It looks like Mann’s last appearance will be April 4 – and then Leo Howard will take over the role for his own Days debut on April 5.

This Tate switch is happening due to Mann’s decision to concentrate on college, so we wish him luck along with Howard as he slides into the part.
