Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, November 1, reveals that Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) caught up with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) after her trip and was glad to hear she’d forgiven Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) along with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
Sarah also gave Holly updates on Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) serum offer and how Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) was blocking it by going after Titan. Since Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) would do anything for that potential paralysis cure, Sarah’s main worry was her husband.
At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s Days episode, Xander visited Kristen and suggested that their problems would be solved if Philip ended up deceased. Since Xander knew the cops would come straight to his door if that happened, he pushed Kristen to get the job done instead.
Kristen wanted Titan, but she shut down Xander’s idea since it was too extreme and pushed him to find some other way to handle Philip.
In Philip’s suite on Friday’s DOOL show, he admitted to Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) that he was having second thoughts about their plan. Philip was upset over Sarah not getting the serum, but Vivian acted like it might not even work.
Besides, Vivian argued that Sarah made her bed when she chose to marry that “miscreant” Xander.
Later, Xander spoke to Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) portrait and suggested he might have to cause Philip’s grim fate if it came down to it. Philip ultimately appeared behind Xander and stomped to get his attention.
At the hospital on Friday’s Days episode, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) introduced Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens), but Joy said she’d already met Chanel at the audition.
Joy pretended it was her first time meeting Johnny and shook hands with him as she learned he was a director on Body & Soul. Of course, Johnny also found out Joy had been cast as Regan Holloway, Arrow (Robert Scott Wilson) and Faith’s (Raven Bowens) new interloper.
Once Kate dragged Chanel off for a wardrobe fitting, she urged her to give Johnny a second chance and explained how jealousy often consumed men. Kate suggested Johnny could’ve done worse than lash out and hoped Chanel could forgive him.
Back with Johnny, he admitted to Joy that Chanel was his wife and that he was wrong about her affair. Johnny insisted it was a big misunderstanding, so Joy agreed to keep their night together a secret.
Chanel eventually popped back up, so Joy took off. That gave Chanel an opportunity to forgive Johnny, but she also said he was on probation and that he’d better not do anything else to screw this up.
Since Xander told Kate about Philip being in town, she made her way to Philip’s suite at the Salem Inn. Kate planned to ambush Philip, so she got her hands on a key card and let herself in.
Kate certainly didn’t look happy when she came face to face with Vivian on Friday’s Days episode!
In bed together, Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) confirmed that they didn’t regret what happened between them last night. Sophia also averted a mom crisis with the help of a friend who covered for her.
Tate eventually noticed Holly’s text and seemed pensive over it, but he put on a smile with Sophia until she left. Once Tate texted Holly back to let her know he just now saw her text, she came over to the townhouse.
After Holly assumed Tate was busy last night, he said there was something she should know.
