Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, November 22, reveals that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) called Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) to see how he was doing after eating a tainted cupcake. Alex insisted he was on the mend, but Stephanie still offered to come over and take care of him if he needed her to.
After Alex explained that Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) came over to run lines and stuck around to help him after he got sick, Stephanie seemed weirded out.
Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) eventually showed up at the pub, where he spent some time talking to Stephanie about their previous engagement.
Although Philip wanted Stephanie to take him on as a PR client, she shut down the idea due to their old romantic involvement.
Philip got Stephanie to admit that he had just as much right to the Kiriakis legacy as Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and would probably do a better job with Titan.
Since Philip insisted they could keep things strictly professional, Stephanie finally agreed to help him manage his PR image as he pursued Titan.
At Alex’s place on Friday’s Days episode, Joy bonded with him and admitted she hooked up with Chanel Dupree DiMera’s (Raven Bowens) husband.
Joy explained that she had no idea who Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was and thought she’d never see him again since they met randomly at the bar.
Once Joy realized Johnny was the director and he realized Chanel didn’t cheat on him first, things got messy fast.
Joy ultimately feared she shouldn’t have told Alex, who pointed out that Chanel was his friend and deserved to know what happened.
That led to Joy frantically pressuring Alex to keep his mouth shut since this could ruin her career and blow things up for Johnny, too.
At the DiMera mansion on Friday’s DOOL show, Chanel listened to Johnny talk in his sleep, so she was puzzled when he mentioned Joy’s name and said they shouldn’t do this.
Chanel asked Johnny about his dream when he woke up and mentioned what he said, so he covered by acting like they were just disagreeing over a scene in his dream.
Once talk turned to the poisoned cupcakes, Chanel decided she should visit the bakery and make sure no one ordered plain cupcakes that they ultimately put their own B&S logo on.
After Johnny was alone, he beat himself up for talking about Joy in his sleep and acted like he couldn’t keep lying like this.
Back at Alex’s apartment on Friday’s Days episode, Joy was still pleading with him to keep quiet when Chanel showed up at the door and made things awkward.
In the town square, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) got some amazing news over the phone since Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) called to let him know Sarah was regaining feeling in her legs.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) got updates as well and hoped this meant Brady would give them another chance as a couple, but he just wanted to be co-parents and hopefully friends for Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) sake.
As Kristen flew into a rage and caused a scene, she accused Brady of duping her and never having any intention of getting back together.
Kristen was upset since Rachel wanted their romantic reunion, but Brady insisted their daughter was strong and would be fine.
Once Kristen turned more sinister, she insisted she’d see to it that Rachel got through this – just the two of them.
Brady warned Kristen not to punish him by keeping Rachel away again since that would just hurt their little girl, too.
Kristen threw Brady’s own words back in his face and said she couldn’t make any promises before sauntering off.
At the hospital, a doctor examined Sarah and vowed to run all the necessary tests, but he was clearly amazed over her feeling her legs again.
Sarah wanted to make another walking attempt, but Xander and Maggie pushed her to be patient.
However, Sarah got on her feet once she was alone and used a cane to get herself to the waiting area.
Xander was deeply moved as Sarah took steps toward him using that cane and the nearby nurses’ desk to support her.
Maggie also cried over Sarah’s miracle, so Friday’s Days episode ended on a happy note.
