Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, September 13, reveals that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) told Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) about EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) trying to bluff his way into a deal with her. Brady thought Kristen should go back to EJ and confess since he still wanted to be prosecuted.
However, Kristen pushed Brady to stay out of prison for Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) sake. In fact, Kristen suggested they should revisit the custody arrangement since Rachel needed her father.
At one point, Kristen also flashed back to EJ accusing her of wanting to rekindle things with Brady, so it was obvious her actions were about that, too.
At the Salem PD on Friday’s Days episode, EJ didn’t think Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) could find evidence against Brady, but he welcomed any info she could offer. That said, EJ wondered why Holly was so focused on making Brady pay.
Holly eventually confessed that she found out about Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) role in Daniel Jonas’ (Shawn Christian) accident.
EJ said he told Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) to come clean to Holly sooner, but she wouldn’t listen.
Holly got updates on EJ’s final divorce papers and had sympathy for him since they both knew Eric would always come first for Nicole.
EJ was sorry for Jude Brady’s (Oliver McLarty) paternity secret and how it affected Holly, so she appreciated the apology and wound up hugging him.
At school on Friday’s DOOL show, Sophia Choi (Madelyn Kientz) eavesdropped as Tate talked to Eric about Holly blowing up at him.
Tate explained all the drama, so Sophia comforted him once he was alone.
Sophia played up how sorry she was for “poor Holly,” but she also knew Tate needed support considering what was going on with Brady.
After Sophia acted like she understood Tate’s perspective, she vowed to be there for him and surprised him with an embrace.
In Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office on Friday’s Days episode, Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) didn’t see Brady during hypnosis, but she seemed to be having a breakthrough.
Sarah suggested she saw someone she recognized, but she claimed it was just a close call when she interrupted Xander and Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) afterward.
Thanks to Linsey Godfrey’s excellent, mysterious performance, it was tough to tell if Sarah might actually be hiding a memory of Fiona behind the wheel.
Sarah turned down Fiona’s offer to accompany her to the bathroom and later took a nap alone back at the Kiriakis mansion.
Fiona noticed a bat was missing from the party aftermath since they’d had a piñata for Victoria Kiriakis (Islay and Paisley Kerr) earlier.
Since Xander had suspiciously taken off to deal with some business only he could handle, Fiona panicked.
At Basic Black again on Friday’s Days episode, Xander arrived ready to put Brady in a wheelchair of his own! Once Xander said he was going to use Brady as a human piñata, Fiona came rushing in to shut all this down.
Xander wondered why Fiona should care since she didn’t know Brady, but she said she was trying to keep him out of prison for Sarah and Victoria’s sake.
After Xander said he could get a good lawyer and raised his bat again, Fiona stopped him since she had a confession to make.
While Sarah and Eric bonded during a conversation at the Kiriakis mansion, Kristen popped by Marlena’s office with an invitation.
Since Rachel wanted her grandma and grandpa at Grandparents Day, Marlena agreed to come with John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Marlena also heard the news about Kristen’s willingness to change the custody agreement and was suspicious.
Kristen acknowledged that she’d given up trying to get over Brady and hinted that maybe it had just taken him this long to realize they were meant to be.
