Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, December 16, reveals that Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will lend an ear to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and seek the latest news in his life. After Shawn talks about his divorce, he’ll admit he’s decided to stick around Salem and rejoin the police force.
Meanwhile, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will reluctantly come to Philip Kiriakis’ (John-Paul Lavoisier) rescue now that he’s in desperate need of a new lawyer.
Philip approached Belle with dire updates on his situation, so she’ll feel obligated to help.
Days spoilers say Belle will track down Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for another conversation, so that’ll lead to her asking a favor from him.
Although Belle may push Brady to testify about being on Philip’s side, Brady may not go for the idea.
Brady is finally on decent terms with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and has gone back to Basic Black, so it’s not the best plan to ignite Xander’s fury again.
Besides, part of Brady may be holding a grudge over Philip’s old frame-up and all the Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) drama.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Brady will shut down Belle’s request in Monday’s DOOL episode, so she’ll have to find other ways to bolster Philip’s case.
Elsewhere, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will keep doing everything he can to help Xander win this legal fight.
That’s why Justin will push Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) to testify and hope he can count on her to be very vocal about her support for Xander.
Other Days spoilers say Philip will take a moment to catch up with Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow), who’ll seem uncharacteristically unsettled.
It takes a lot to rattle Kate, but she’ll indeed seem on edge in Monday’s show.
Philip will grill Kate about what’s wrong, so Kate will have a confession to make.
This could involve more worries about Philip’s tendency to fixate on former flames, especially now that he’s working with both Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Belle to achieve a court victory.
However, there could be other fears bubbling up for Kate as well. Kate knows that Philip’s mental state could still be delicate, so she may be concerned that he’ll go off the rails if he loses this chance at Titan.
It’s even possible Kate will be worried for herself since Roman is an ex-cop and definitely wouldn’t like this Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) forgery mess.
There could be major backlash that puts Kate’s happy romance in jeopardy if she gets busted along with Philip.
