Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, December 2, reveals that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will stumble across a wonderful sight in the town square, where she’ll bump into Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham) and have a catch-up session.
Marie obviously hasn’t been in Salem for quite some time, but she’ll admit she couldn’t stay away when she heard about Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) passing.
Once Marie got updates on that sad news, she had to come offer her condolences and pay her respects.
Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring) will also head back to town and delight Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) by showing up at her front door.
Although Marlena and Liz had some issues in the past, they’re friends at this point and will enjoy seeing each other again.
Liz and Marie’s rivalry, on the other hand, may still be fresh in their minds when they have an encounter of their own!
There may be some hurled insults and old grudges rehashed, but Marie and Liz will calm down in time for Doug’s upcoming service.
Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), Lani Grant (Sal Stowers), Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will reminisce about Doug as they share a toast to an amazing person.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Doug was perfect!
Since Doug started out as a con man, Eli will have some wild stories to tell Lani and will liven up an otherwise somber day.
At the pub, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will think back on Doug’s life as well.
Look for Steve, Kayla, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) to down some drinks as they pay tribute to Doug.
Next on Monday’s DOOL episode, Steven Olson (Stephen Schnetzer) will catch Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) off guard by arriving at a Horton house window instead of on her doorstep.
Days spoilers say Julie will gape over her brother’s return and will reconnect with Steven ahead of Doug’s funeral.
Over with Belle Black (Martha Madison), she’ll pop back up at Marlena’s townhouse and will ultimately open the door to Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
Although Belle and Shawn’s efforts to save their marriage haven’t worked out, she’ll still want to show him some love during a difficult time.
Our Days predictions point to some awkward yet touching moments as Shawn and Brady talk.
Shawn and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will also hang out with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves), so there’ll be plenty of family reunions going on all over town.
