Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, September 30, reveals that Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) will have some fires to put out ahead of Body & Soul’s first day of filming.
For starters, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will pass along some bad news regarding Hattie Adams’ (Deidre Hall) feud with Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans), which has really gotten out of hand.
Now that Hattie has given an “it’s me or her” ultimatum, Days spoilers say Kate will face a dilemma.
It looks like it’ll eventually come down to who’s a bigger asset to the show.
Hattie looks identical to the last actress who portrayed Charlemagne, so the recast won’t be as jarring for the audience.
Bonnie doesn’t look like the previous Kassandra portrayer, so that may work against her here.
Of course, Bonnie was already threatening to leave if Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) didn’t change the scripts.
Leo will give Bonnie some difficult updates, so she’ll learn she won’t be getting the rewrites she wants.
From there, Bonnie may learn she’s being cut from the show completely since Hattie won’t stay otherwise.
Although Bonnie will be furious, Days spoilers say a victorious Hattie will be ready to pour salt in the wound soon enough.
Next on Monday’s DOOL episode, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will acknowledge that he messed up.
During Johnny’s latest fight with Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens), he made some insulting comments that were uncalled for.
Chanel is trying to get along with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) for the sake of the show, so she didn’t appreciate Johnny acting like she still had the hots for him.
So far, Chanel is keeping things professional and working to make Body & Soul a success.
Johnny will be sorry for crossing the line with some of his accusations – and he’ll apologize for not consulting Chanel when he pressured Leo to hold off on the love scene.
Chanel may forgive Johnny for his behavior, but she can’t forget!
If similar Alex issues pop up somewhere down the line, that could lead to Johnny and Chanel revisiting this conflict.
Other Days spoilers say Alex will need some emergency advice before his first day on the Body & Soul set.
The faux Chanel passion might be a particular concern for Alex since it looks like the love scene is still happening.
Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will help soothe any last-minute jitters for Alex when she offers some words of wisdom.
However, Stephanie will secretly wish she was the one headed to the bedroom with Alex – and she won’t want it to be fake!
