Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, September 9, reveals that Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) put Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) on full blast for killing Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian) and stealing his life by building a family with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Eric was apologetic and admitted he kept the secret longer than he should have because he didn’t want wreck their bond.
Holly insisted she hated Eric and would never forgive him, so he cried alone later and called Nicole to break the news.
Next on Monday’s Days episode, Holly was in tears as she bumped into Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) in the Kiriakis living room.
Once Maggie got updates on Holly learning who killed Daniel, she pulled her granddaughter into a comforting embrace.
Upstairs, Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) prepared to smother a sleeping Sarah Kiriakis (Linsey Godfrey) with a pillow, but she pulled it away when Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) entered.
When Sarah woke up on Monday’s DOOL show, she shut down Xander’s idea about pretending she remembered Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) in the driver’s seat.
However, Sarah ultimately went along with Xander’s suggestion about undergoing hypnosis with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to clear up her memory.
That left Fiona nervous and even more determined to make sure Sarah never recalled her guilt.
Outside the pub on Monday’s Days episode, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) crossed paths with Brady, who was feeling like he didn’t deserve his freedom.
Once Ava thought back to the night Brady fell the wagon, she wished she could’ve helped him.
Ava recalled Brady hanging out with a woman who had an accent, so Brady immediately became uncomfortable over being spotted with Fiona.
Brady wound up admitting that woman was Xander’s mom and that he’d had a fling with her, but he hoped Ava would keep it under wraps for obvious reasons.
Ava assured Brady that his secret was safe and offered a sympathetic ear if he ever needed one.
Once Brady returned to the townhouse on Monday’s Days episode, he remained upset despite John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) joy over his release.
