Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of January 8-12 reveals that Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will visit Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) in the hospital and talk about how her heart breaks for her precious granddaughter.
It was hard enough for Maggie to lose Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian), so she’ll hate the thought of losing Holly, too. Maggie will give Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) a hug as they continue to hope for positive updates on Holly’s condition.
Elsewhere, Days spoilers say Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) will face a new dilemma now that Holly is in such bad shape.
It was wrong for Sloan to steal Jude Brady, but at least she could soothe her guilt by telling herself that Nicole still had Holly to focus on.
Now Nicole could lose her only surviving child to a drug overdose, so Sloan will reel over that possibility during an emergency meeting with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang).
Although Sloan will be tempted to blow everything up and give Jude back to Nicole, Melinda will settle her down and push her keep quiet.
Holly is still in a coma, but Melinda may urge Sloan to hope for good news and avoid doing anything rash.
Other Days spoilers say Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will fume over Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) being stuck in a jail cell.
Tate is also going to be tried as an adult, so Brady will feel like something must be done about EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel) harsh treatment of his son.
When Brady and Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) visit Tate, they’ll spot his black eye and realize things are even worse than they thought.
Days spoilers say Tate will make an enemy or two behind bars, so Theresa and Brady will be desperate to score his freedom.
Since Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) won’t think Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) is doing enough to help Tate, he’ll fire him – presumably with Theresa’s approval since she’s starting to believe they need a more ruthless lawyer.
Brady will head to the DiMera mansion, where’ll he’ll seemingly work another angle by complaining to Nicole. It sounds like Brady will hope Nicole can convince EJ to back off his vendetta.
Unfortunately, Brady will say something he shouldn’t and push Nicole too far.
“How dare you talk about my daughter like that,” Nicole fires back at Brady in DOOL’s weekly preview video.
EJ will blast Brady as well and throw him out of their house, so Brady will be angry and distraught as he fails to save Tate.
Brady will eventually make an ominous promise to Theresa when he swears on the soul of his grandfather, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
EJ will make a similar vow when he swears on the soul of his father, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). It’ll be an attempt to calm Nicole, who’ll scream with rage as her emotions become too much to bottle up anymore.
Nothing good can come from mentioning Victor and Stefano’s names in this scenario, so more trouble must be brewing!
Next, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will interrogate Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) about whether the DiMeras are involved in all the drug chaos.
Meanwhile, Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) will offer Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) the chance to get Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) out of prison, but it’ll come with plenty of risks.
If Lucas gets busted undercover, then he could face a fatal outcome. That’s something Kate will warn Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about as she frets over the mission Lucas is about to accept.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lucas will land in some scary situations soon, so stay tuned to DOOL.
