Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, February 16, reveals that Officer Goldman (Christy St. John) got her badge and weapon back, so Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) was pleased over her return to active duty following the investigation.
Once Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) was alone with Rafe, she admitted she didn’t know much about Officer Goldman’s personal life and hoped she had someone to spend Valentine’s Day with.
Jada’s gift for Rafe was an antique sheriff’s badge, so he loved it and gave her a bracelet with a feminist quote. Rafe and Jada had to get back to work, but they confirmed they were still on for a double date with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) later.
After Rafe mentioned meeting Everett already through his work at The Spectator, he said Everett seemed like a pretty cool guy. Jada mentioned that her ex-husband, Bobby, was also a reporter, but he definitely wasn’t cool in her eyes!
In the town square on Friday’s Days episode, Stephanie snapped pics of Salemites participating in the geocaching event and gushed to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) as well as Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) about all the money raised for the hospital.
In the park, Tripp hid a box for Wendy to find and assured her that it wasn’t a ring when she seemed concerned. Wendy was pleased over the earrings Tripp got her since they were the same ones she’d admired at the store.
Tripp also liked the fancy cufflinks Wendy gave him, so they celebrated their presents and love with a kiss.
Meanwhile, Officer Goldman lurked before eventually revealed herself to Wendy and Tripp.
After Officer Goldman claimed Rafe had her watching over them, she said there was intel to indicate Tripp and Wendy were in danger.
Tripp wondered if this had something to do with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and what happened to Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), but Officer Goldman acted like Rafe would have updates later.
Officer Goldman whisked Tripp and Wendy away under the guise of taking them somewhere safe, but the music and tone of the scene made it clear that she was a shady cop working for Clyde Weston (James Read).
At home on Friday’s Days episode, Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) seemed annoyed as Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) doted on Jude Brady in his stroller.
Eric had a teddy bear for Jude and a necklace for Sloan, but she was disappointed when that necklace had a cham with Jude’s name. it was obvious that Sloan didn’t like Eric making everything about the baby.
Sloan gave Eric some red lingerie that she planned to wear later as his Valentine’s gift, but he was eager to head out since Jude would be sleeping soon.
After Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) pestered Everett at work, he realized he’d have to fly solo this Valentine’s Day and wound up participating in the scavenger hunt.
That put Leo in the town square at the same time as Sloan and Eric, who called Leo over despite Sloan’s protests. Leo pushed Sloan’s buttons as usual, but Eric told her the guy was harmless.
Once Eric returned home with Sloan, he planned to put Jude down for the night while Sloan slipped into the red nightie from earlier. After Sloan put it on, she was disappointed to find Eric had fallen asleep.
Sloan made a phone call and said she was alone tonight, so she made plans to meet up with someone – presumably Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) – at Small Bar.
After Stephanie called Everett and confirmed he’d be heading to the pub soon, she joined Rafe and Jada there. Everett finally appeared right as Jada was headed to the restroom, which delayed their encounter a bit longer.
Once Jada returned to the table, she was shocked to see the man she recalled as her ex-husband.
Jada clearly thought Everett was Bobby, so she gasped and called him by the name she knew. Everett seemed perplexed and weirded out by Jada’s stunned reaction.
At Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) and Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) apartment on Friday’s DOOL show, he took his time getting ready as Theresa’s proposal anticipation grew.
Theresa thought this would be a momentous evening – and once she was seated at The Bistro with Alex, she toasted to a night to remember.
As the night went on without Alex popping the question, Theresa seemed on edge.
Alex guessed there was just one thing left to do and asked the waiter for the check.
Theresa thought Alex might be reaching for the ring box in his jacket pocket, but he pulled out cash instead.
That led to Theresa finally blurting out that Alex should just do it and that her answer was yes.
On Friday’s Days episode, Theresa told a baffled Alex that she found the engagement ring box, but he gently explained that she got this wrong.
Although Alex was sorry and wanted to talk things out, Theresa snapped about having nothing to say to Alex and made a scene before stomping off.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Alex and Theresa will have to find a way to get on the same page, so stick with us for news on their romance.
