Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Friday, February 2, reveals that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) prepared for Maggie Horton’s (Suzanne Rogers) dinner arrival, which led to Sarah confessing that Maggie was bringing Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) with her.
While Xander objected on Friday’s Days episode, Konstantin mulled over the red card in his room and seemed puzzled over its exact meaning.
Maggie appeared and offered reassurance about Konstantin being welcome at this dinner, so they went off together.
Back at Xander’s place on Friday’s DOOL show, Maggie convinced him not to let bad blood with Konstantin spoil this evening.
The tiny dinner party went well enough at first, but then Konstantin started insulting Xander’s Scottish heritage and playing up how he was raised to be a “man’s man” in Athena.
Once Xander hinted about Konstantin taking advantage of a wealthy widow, Konstantin told Maggie that it was time to go.
Maggie lashed out and urged Konstantin to order a car if he couldn’t behave himself since she wasn’t ready to leave.
Konstantin indeed left, so Maggie apologized for bringing him and got Sarah’s comfort.
Xander also apologized for his role in his earlier fight, but he privately told Sarah that maybe Maggie was wising up about Konstantin.
At the townhouse, John and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) evening together was interrupted – first by Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and then by Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) since they needed to handle some consent forms for Tate Black’s (Jamie Martin Mann) correctional wilderness trip.
Theresa got the feeling that Marlena and John knew about her slip, so she confronted Brady in private and got him to admit he told Marlena.
Although Theresa was upset initially, she decided she trusted Marlena and John to keep things quiet.
Theresa also thought Brady felt like she did and perhaps wished they could’ve been the next John and Marlena.
Brady acted like the bar was awfully high for that and downplayed his old romance with Theresa – though he did acknowledge that they had some good times.
Once Marlena and John reappeared, Theresa addressed her slip and made it clear that she was determined not to let it happen again.
John received a text and claimed it was about a new Black Patch case, so he ended up walking Theresa out.
Brady stayed behind to watch a movie and spoke to Marlena about his forever link to Theresa through Tate.
In the park on Friday’s Days episode, Konstantin made it clear that he was John’s latest appointment, so they bickered as Konstantin prepared to show off the red card and tell a story.
Over with Everett, he was on the phone with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) when Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) arrived, so she got updates on the lead they were set to chase at the crack of dawn.
Stephanie found the earbud she came for and turned down Everett’s offer to stay for liquor bottles from the mini fridge along with dinner.
After Stephanie changed her mind, she downed rum with Everett and confessed she wanted more than friendship as well.
Stephanie reflected on some warm memories of living in Seattle with Everett before admitting she’d like more times like that.
Once Stephanie turned out the light, she kissed Everett before they stripped down and made love.
At home on Friday’s Days episode, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) read a hot romance novel and was surprised when Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) arrived at the door.
Stefan had intercepted Ava’s sushi delivery in the hall, so he traded it for wine – though Ava could tell he’d been drinking already.
Ava wound up joining Stefan as they finished off that bottle before opening another.
Stefan and Ava also did tequila shots, so they were both completely plastered by the end of the night. At one point, Stefan took off his shirt and pants due to some spilled booze.
After Stefan said Ava really got to him with her steamy talk on the phone, he hoped maybe he could help her with the tasks she was talking about.
Ava and Stefan made out before fully surrendering to temptation, so Ava recalled the romance novel from earlier as Stefan did the things she’d previously read about.
