Days of Our Lives Recap: Monday, February 12 – Lani Calls Home Before Paulina’s Horror – Chad’s Ominous Message

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, February 12, reveals that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) found the Horton living room on fire, so Chad said he’d call 911 and urged Julie to get the kids out of the house.

Once Julie was safely across the street with Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron), she realized Chad was still in the house trying to use the fire extinguisher.

Julie ran back in and convinced Chad to leave with her, so everyone made out OK. As firefighters later worked to save the house, Julie cried over half of her life going up in flames.

Chad reassured the kids about replacing their toys, but he also had to face the reality of losing old photos of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).

A phone call eventually came in for Chad, who heard a distorted voice suggest that maybe he would listen next time.

At The Bistro on Monday’s Days episode, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) saw Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and made a comment about him being in clothes this time, but Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) warned her son not to talk about what happened.

Afterward, Ava found Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) bleeding on the loading dock and called Tripp in a panic.

Tripp ran outside to help Harris, who had a chest wound along with one on his left arm. Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) called 911 once she appeared and relayed news on Harris’ condition.

At one point, Ava muttered about how this wasn’t supposed to happen, but she brushed off the comment when Stefan overheard and asked what that meant.

Once EMTs showed up to help, Tripp lost Harris’ pulse and had to shock his heart to get it back.

Harris was eventually rushed to the hospital, but Tripp was concerned about all the blood loss as he spoke to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) over the phone.

Meanwhile, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) got updates on Harris’ ordeal, but Jada had to go investigate another shooting at the pub.

In Harris’ apartment on Monday’s Days episode, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) fired back at the intruder, who seemingly got hit in the shoulder and ran off.

Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) was fine and grateful to Kate for defending them, so they were unharmed as they filled Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) in on everything that just went down.

Jada was surprised to see Lucas, who admitted Harris’ apartment had been his safehouse this whole time.

Once Jada heard all the details of what happened, she agreed that Lucas should stay at Kate and Roman’s place for now.

At Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) apartment on Monday’s DOOL show, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) insisted on a girls’ night ahead of her surgery and had bags full of all Paulina’s favorite things.

Paulina was pleased to get a call from Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) at her prison facility, so Lani offered a pep talk and prayers before her mom’s procedure.

Next on Monday’s Days episode, Mayor Price was horrified to receive another phone call about Harris’ crisis.

It made Paulina realize that you never knew when your number might be up, so she tried to remind Chanel of what to do in case her surgery went wrong.

Chanel refused to let Paulina talk like that, so Paulina relented and assured her daughter that she’d be around for a very long time.
