Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, February 19, reveals that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) talked to Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) about her surgery going well and set her up with a white board to communicate since she wouldn’t be able to speak properly for a while.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds), Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) were glad to hear the procedure was seemingly a success.
Kayla got updates on the wedding festivities before Johnny sang a song for Chanel and played his guitar.
Once Kayla got the news that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) didn’t show up for his shift, she tried to reach him on Monday’s Days episode and eventually grew concerned as she left a voicemail.
Back with Paulina, she was in good spirits and enjoyed Johnny’s musical performance. After Johnny and Chanel cut the cake, Paulina suddenly had a health setback and was in visible distress.
Kayla was alerted to a Code MI, so she ran to Paulina’s side and urged the nurse to get the cardiologist down there.
At the Kiriakis mansion on Monday’s Days episode, Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) continued to charm Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) with a Greek meal, some stories and a sweet card.
Konstantin also opened up about losing his daughter, Catharina (Ellie Patrikios), in a tragedy and pulled Maggie closer in the process, so she let him give her a kiss goodnight.
While Maggie admired Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) portrait wistfully, Konstantin drank in his room and got choked up over Catharina.
At the pub on Monday’s DOOL show, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) raged over Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berris) claims that he wasn’t her ex-husband, Bobby Stein.
Although Jada offered up their old engagement photo as evidence, Everett thought there were plenty of people with doppelgangers in the world.
Jada threatened to haul Everett down to the station and have him fingerprinted to prove he was Bobby, but Everett acted like she was losing it and stood by his story.
Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) pointed out that Everett suffered some amnesia due to getting hit by a car, but Everett was certain that he’d never met or been married to Jada.
There were some minor gaps in Everett’s memories, but nothing as major as huge chunks of time and whole relationships with other people – least according to him.
On Monday’s Days episode, Jada was convinced that Everett was lying and felt she could see it in his eyes.
After Jada warned Stephanie not to let herself get “sandbagged” any longer, she vowed that Bobby would be exposed.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) eventually led Jada away and tried to calm her down in the town square.
Jada was upset when she thought Rafe might believe Bobby over her, but he insisted he just wanted to be careful about serious accusations.
After Rafe assured Jada that he’d help her get to the bottom of things tomorrow, he got her on board with spending the rest of their Valentine’s Day relaxing.
Back with Stephanie, she seemed concerned over the engagement ring she found and remembered Jada discovering Bobby’s cheating due to a jewelry expense.
Stephanie grew worried about being the other woman, but Everett insisted he wasn’t Bobby and kept trying to act like Jada was making insane accusations.
When Everett tried to get Stephanie to come back to his room and talk about this over a nightcap, she didn’t think that was a good idea and left on her own.
