Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, January 29, reveals that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) returned from work and found that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) wasn’t home, so she called him and learned he went for a walk when he couldn’t sleep.
After Marlena called Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) to go check on her husband in the town square, John quickly figured out that “Doc” must’ve sent him.
Steve spoke to John about his missing memories and ultimately admitted that Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) knew about “The Pawn.”
That news shocked John, who agreed with Steve about how they had to be strategic in handling this.
At the pub on Monday’s Days episode, Kate Roberts Brady (Lauen Koslow) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) thought someone broke in at first, but then they realized Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) was the one lurking around.
Since Kate was upset over Statesville losing track of Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), Harris took her upstairs along with Roman and showed them that Lucas was hiding out upstairs.
Roman was on board with harboring Lucas and assured him that he did a brave thing by trying to help with the drug crisis in Salem.
Harris made it clear that Lucas’ location had to stay on the down low and that when the threat was eliminated, Lucas would have to finish the remainder of his sentence.
While Kate got Lucas settled in bed, Steve ran into Harris in the town square, but neither of them opened up about their troubles.
At Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) and Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) place, they talked about what they were doing at the hospital.
Alex confessed that he had a late-night therapy session with Marlena, so Theresa said she had a bit of a therapy session with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), too.
Instead of getting into what they discussed at those sessions, Theresa wanted to do something fun as a distraction.
Alex agreed to play truth or dare with Theresa, so they started out with silly questions like who Alex’s first crush was – and he answered that it was Lindsay Lohan.
Theresa got uncomfortable when Alex asked about the worst lie that she ever told, so she opted for a dare and ended up singing loudly as a result.
Once Alex joined in and the neighbor complained on Monday’s DOOL show, Alex and Theresa decided to wrap up the game.
Although Theresa initially suggested she should go in her own room and try to get some sleep, she changed her mind and headed in Alex’s room to end the night on a hotter note.
In Everett Lynch’s (Blake Berris) suite on Monday’s Days episode, he scared Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) by hinting about the risky confession he had to make.
Everett talked about seeing Stephanie with her friends earlier, but then he realized what he had to say needed to happen in private.
Although Everett respected Stephanie’s boundaries, he acknowledged that he was struggling in the friend zone since he still loved her and wanted to be together.
Stephanie opened up about blaming herself for Everett ghosting her, so he was sorry for the pain she went through and wanted to make it up to her.
Although Stephanie wondered why Everett’s family didn’t try to track him down, he reminded her that he lost his mom when he was young and his dad was a drunk.
Everett’s extended family lived on the other side of the country, so he wasn’t close with them either.
On Monday’s Days episode, Everett also talked about being diagnosed with retrograde amnesia when he first woke up from his coma.
Stephanie was the first thing Everett remembered with any clarity, so she helped him find his purpose again – and that brought him to Salem on a mission to reunite with her.
After Everett shared a kiss with Stephanie, he asked her to stay the night with him.
Stephanie wasn’t ready to heat things up any further, but Everett insisted he just wanted to sleep with her in his arms.
Since Stephanie thought that sounded nice, she kept her clothes on along with Everett as they snuggled together on top of the covers.
