Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, February 15, reveals that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) thanked Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) for coming down to the station, but they didn’t have any info to offer about what happened to Harris Michaels (Steve Burton).
Harris made it through the night, but Jada revealed that he had a lot of internal damage and wasn’t out of the woods yet.
After Jada pointed out that they had a person of interest in custody, she added that someone sent Harris a text to lure him to the loading dock. Ava was surprised to learn the text seemingly came from her.
Of course, Ava shut down that idea on Thursday’s Days episode and showed Jada her phone to prove there wasn’t a message like that.
Jada said messages could be deleted, but she also acknowledged that numbers could be ghosted and mentioned that they’d get a warrant to look into Ava’s phone records.
Ava assured Jada that she wanted to help and added that her alibi was rock solid since security footage would prove she was at The Bistro working all evening.
Although Ava felt guilty since Harris thought he was coming to meet her, Stefan assured Ava that it wasn’t her fault and offered to take her to lunch.
Ava had something else to take care of and ended up at the hospital chapel since they wouldn’t let her see Harris.
Stefan joined a praying Ava there and comforted her over the mess they were both stuck in with Clyde Weston (James Read).
At The Spectator, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) hugged Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) in front of Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) and was glad to see that her ex was OK after the fire.
Stephanie also offered up a box of pajamas, teddy bears and other supplies for the kids, so Chad knew they’d be grateful.
Once Stephanie was gone, Chad gave Everett the news about the fire being arson. Everett heard about Chad’s ominous phone call and wanted to help him take Clyde down.
Meanwhile, Stephanie met up with Jada to thank her for a reminder about a permit for the geocaching event and deliver an invitation for a Valentine’s Day double date.
Jada got on board with Stephanie’s plan, so they agreed to bring their boyfriends for a night out.
In the Salem PD interrogation room, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) was handcuffed to the table and clearly miserable.
When Sarah walked in on Thursday’s DOOL show, Xander was taken aback to see her.
Xander assured Sarah that he had no reason to go after Harris and begged her to believe he was innocent.
Even so, Xander knew Sarah had already given him more chances than he deserved, so he said he wouldn’t blame her if she was there to say goodbye.
Sarah knew Xander couldn’t kill someone in cold blood and that the man she was raising Victoria Horton-Cook with wasn’t responsible. Since Xander said he didn’t do this, Sarah chose to take him at his word.
Sarah also got Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) to serve as Xander’s lawyer, so Xander admitted he got a call a few days ago asking him to eliminate someone.
Justin planned to get Xander out on bail, but Jada entered and advised against getting Xander’s hopes up.
Jada opened a box with a gun in an evidence bag and said it came from Xander’s apartment. It was confirmed to be a match for the gun that shot Harris, so Xander looked stunned over the setup.
In the town square, Stephanie got Everett on board with the double date idea, so they sealed their plans with a kiss.
At the DiMera mansion on Thursday’s Days episode, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) opened the door to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and assumed all the Valentine’s Day gifts in his arms were for Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater).
Brady confirmed they were and gave Rachel a stuffed bear, balloons and some other goodies.
While Rachel was off putting the finishing touches on Brady’s card, Kristen hinted about being lonely and maybe exploring things with Brady again.
Brady acted like Kristen was delusional if she ever thought that would happen and ran down the list of some of Kristen’s horrible offenses.
Rachel found Brady yelling at Kristen and warned him not to speak to her mom like that.
All Brady and Kristen ever did was fight, so Rachel lashed out and ripped up the card she made for her daddy.
Kristen thought Brady had better go, so he took off and stopped outside to beat himself up for letting this happen again.
Back with Kristen on Thursday’s Days episode, she embraced Rachel and offered a glass of water.
Kristen encouraged Rachel to calm down, but Rachel was obviously sick of the constant clashing between her mom and dad.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady and Kristen will have to figure out a way to keep the peace for Rachel’s sake, so stay tuned for updates on how they might pull that off.
