Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 17, reveals that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) discovered Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) was missing from her room, so she became concerned about Paulina fleeing the hospital and exposing people since she was radioactive.
Marlena gave John Black (Drake Hogestyn) updates on the situation before they learned Chanel DiMera (Raven Bowens) was missing, so they assumed Paulina went into Mama bear mode and didn’t consider the risks.
After Paulina commandeered a snowplow and cleared the bridge herself, she found an injured Chanel in the snow.
Chanel had twisted her ankle and become trapped in between some rocks, but Paulina rescued her and helped her hobble back in the cabin.
Once Paulina got Chanel settled in on the sofa, she backed away and worried about exposing her to radiation.
Chanel insisted what’s done was done and assured Paulina that she was grateful for the help.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) returned and realized Paulina was the one who rescued Chanel, so he was relieved.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) was glad to see Chanel was OK when she came back inside, but she pointed out Paulina had exposed them all to radiation and hoped she hadn’t done more harm than good.
At the Kiriakis mansion on Wednesday’s Days episode, Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) realized his red card was missing and flipped out.
It led to Konstantin accusing a housekeeper named Ellie of stealing the card, but Maggie scolded him since Ellie had been a model employee for several years.
Konstantin apologized for the unfair accusation and acted like the card was of sentimental value by claiming it belonged to Catharina (Ellie Patrikios).
Although Konstantin managed to smooth things over with Maggie, she had bad news since her legal team couldn’t extend his visa.
Konstantin insisted it was OK, but he let Maggie know how much he’d miss her before he went to pack.
Maggie showed up in Konstantin’s room soon after and made it clear that she wanted Konstantin to stick around, but that depended on his answer to her proposal. Konstantin got his wish as Maggie asked him to marry her.
At the pub on Wednesday’s Days episode, John talked to Marlena about pursuing a new angle in Greece since he was trying to track down Catherina’s mother and Konstantin’s ex.
John got info over the phone about Konstantin marrying a woman named Elizabeth Sederis in Aria back in 1970, but she disappeared without a trace after they later signed divorce papers.
At home on Wednesday’s DOOL show, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was distracted when Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) walked in.
After Eric once again struggled to make sense of their budget issues, Sloan suggested he just didn’t understand how the computer program worked and vowed to handle it.
In the meantime, Eric decided he’d try to pick up some editorial photography work at The Spectator, so Sloan thought that was a great idea and sent him on his way.
Once Eric was gone, Sloan got Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) on the phone and pointed out that Eric really needed a win, so she expected Leo to persuade Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to hire him – or else!
On Wednesday’s Days episode, Leo pointed out that he was the one doing the blackmailing here right as Eric walked in and overheard.
Eric quizzed Leo about who he was blackmailing these days, but Leo acted like it was really more of a tactic.
Leo claimed that if he wanted juicy Lady Whistleblower content, he had to threaten to print nasty blind items.
After Leo fibbed that his intuition told him Eric was there about a photography job, he agreed to pass along Eric’s portfolio and put in a good word for him.
As Eric was leaving, he eavesdropped on Leo’s phone call to Sloan through the ajar door.
Leo said Eric just left before promising to give him a ringing endorsement and work every angle he could, so Eric looked uneasy.
