Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that it’s almost time for a tense family reunion. Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) has plenty of issues with his estranged mother, but she’ll be hoping to make peace when she finally reconnects with him.
Days viewers know Bonnie Kiriakis (Judi Evans) found the invitation that was addressed to Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) in the wastebasket.
Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) was hoping that invite would never get sent, but Bonnie popped in the mail anyway.
Since Xander and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) have agreed to a double wedding with Theresa and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), the joint nuptials will set the stage for Fiona’s grand entrance.
Serena Scott Thomas will make her first appearance in the role of Fiona Cook on July 19, so it won’t be long until she comes face to face with Xander again.
Days spoilers say Fiona will have a bold personality and will bring plenty of humor to the table.
However, Fiona is also the kind of woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it.
Although Fiona will want to patch things up with Xander, could the massive fortune he stands to inherit become a factor in her efforts?
Regardless, Fiona indeed knows Xander is Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) biological son and will inevitably blow up the truth one way or another.
Theresa won’t be able to keep all that Kiriakis money she’s been after – and once Alex realizes the depth of her deception, she won’t be able to keep him either!
As for Fiona’s unique style, Serena Scott Thomas offered some hints about it in an interview with TV Guide’s Soap Dish.
You can bet Fiona will be a memorable character who’ll definitely shake up the canvas.
“Fiona comes in with her own flair, large and in charge, with a twinkle in her eye,” Scott Thomas teased.
It turns out Scott Thomas had no problem connecting with her costars, especially her TV son.
Paul Telfer greeted Scott Thomas as “Mum” and held out his arms for a hug the first time they saw each other, so they formed a fast bond.
Scott Thomas also admitted she’s having a party to celebrate her July 19 debut and promised DOOL fans that Fiona’s role is “such a hoot.”
Our Days predictions point to both humor and drama as Xander tries to get to know his mother after all these years, so stick with us for updates on whether he’ll be able to accept Fiona.
