Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the mystery woman (AnnaLynne McCord) will head to the hospital with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) since they’re all eager to get to the bottom of her true identity.
There’ll be a DNA test during the week of August 12-16, so Days spoilers say Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will oversee it and ultimately hand the results over to Chad. Once Chad opens them up, he’ll be able to see for himself whether Abigail is biologically related to Jack.
On August 14, Days spoilers point to Chad getting proof of who the mystery woman actually is.
It seems like the only way for Chad to get that is for the result to be a positive match – proving that this is indeed Abigail DiMera (previously played by Marci Miller).
Although it’s possible some DOOL curveballs could come later and change things, let’s assume for a moment that this Abby is the real deal.
It’s going to be a pretty overwhelming experience for all parties involved if that’s the case.
Abigail may be glad to have some answers, but she’ll also be stepping into a life she doesn’t recognize and feels no connection to.
Jack and Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Cady McClain) won’t feel like Abigail’s parents from her perspective – and Chad certainly won’t feel like Abby’s husband when she first tries to reconnect with him.
Jennifer, Jack and Chad may struggle to bond on their end too since we’re talking about an amnesiac with a brand-new face.
This version of Abigail is going to feel like a stranger, so it’ll be a tough situation all around.
Of course, this ordeal may be the hardest on the kids since the new Abigail doesn’t seem like she’ll be very maternal – at least not in her current state.
Chad may move Abigail in the Horton House and eventually let the children reunite with her, but it’ll feel like meeting for the first time.
That may not go well if Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) flip out over their mom’s new face.
It’s easy to imagine the two of them reacting with horror and insisting that’s NOT Mommy!
Abigail may feel guilty for scaring the kids and struggle to fit into this Abby mold she’s being forced into.
There may come a point when Abigail wants to run from all this, so Chad may have a hard time convincing her to stay.
Based on our Days predictions, Abigail’s facial reconstruction will make some waves in Salem, so we’ll bring you updates on all the reactions as that news spreads.
