Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Arianne Zucker’s Press Conference on Lawsuit – DOOL Star’s Side of Exit Story

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Arianne Zucker (Nicole DiMera) had her lawyer, Anahita Sedaghatfar, by her side as she held a press conference recently to discuss the news of her lawsuit.

Zucker had a statement prepared regarding her decision to sue Corday Productions, Executive Producer Ken Corday and former Executive Producer Albert Alarr.

It was Zucker’s chance to elaborate on her side of the story now that everyone knows she’s off the show and fighting back.

Zucker insisted she was “a committed and loyal employee” and pointed out that she’d been playing the role of Nicole since 1998.

Behind the scenes, Zucker also indicated that she became a mentor, friend and someone that others in the cast and crew could confide in.

Zucker said she was “an advocate for those who felt they didn’t have a voice” and served as a sounding board.

With that in mind, Arianne Zucker felt she had to speak up about the harassment that she faced along with her female co-workers during her time at DOOL.

There was talk about the female employees whose airtime was reduced or cut completely – and Zucker discussed the dissolution of the female PR department as well.

“I myself have also been degraded, violated and sexually harassed by Mr. Alarr,” Zucker said.

Zucker explained that she found the courage to say something to Ken Corday, who allegedly wouldn’t speak to her directly.

Once Zucker spoke to another employee at Corday Productions, she said they tried to persuade her not to pursue the matter any further.

Since the show had no HR department, she went to Sony’s HR department to relay her concerns.

The former Days actress claimed that after making a formal complaint and launching an internal investigation, her agents got multiple emails about reducing her pay.

Alarr was initially allowed to remain at work during the investigation and was still in the booth for love scenes, even after he was eventually taken off the floor.

Zucker made a point to mention that there was no intimacy coordinator when all this was playing out.

After multiple reports were released and an online petition brought more pressure, Alarr was removed from all his duties.

Nicole was also written off Days during that investigation into Alarr’s actions before being brought back in August 2023 with the help of Zucker’s attorney.

Zucker said she was treated differently by Ken Corday and some of the male crew members who were close to Alarr upon her return.

Since Zucker’s lawsuit alleges that Days failed to negotiate “in good faith” on a fresh contract agreement, she indicated that she was pushed out of her longtime career at DOOL for standing up for herself and others.

“So for all my coworkers, who were scared for being fired, you all were all right,” an emotional Zucker said about those who were afraid of speaking up like she did.

Since Arianne Zucker’s contract wasn’t renewed, we’ll be sure to give you updates on Nicole’s future and whether that involves a permanent exit or a recast.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Zucker’s remaining scenes will air in the coming months, so stay tuned.
