Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that after plenty of speculation, the show’s confirmed that we’re dealing with a dissociative identity disorder storyline. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) feels confident that’s indeed what Everett Lynch aka Robert “Bobby” Stein (Blake Berris) is up against, so she’s counting on Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) for help.
Stephanie hopes to get through to Everett when it comes to accepting the treatment he needs, but more trouble’s brewing.
Days spoilers say Marlena will also speak with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) about an intervention for Everett during the week of May 27-31, so Jada and Stephanie will move forward with one once they find him.
However, it seems like Days is missing an opportunity here.
If they’re going to do a DID storyline, they might as well throw in at least one more alternate personality.
Back when Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) was suffering from dissociative identity disorder, “Gabby” and “Dr. Laura” were the alters who emerged to protect her from the trauma she’d endured.
Since Abigail had two alters, could Bobby develop another one of his own?
We should offer a reminder that Bobby is a real person who came first since Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) proved that with his birth certificate.
Everett was created as a way to protect Bobby from his own buried trauma, which clearly involves an abusive father and the loss of his mother.
Days spoilers say Stephanie and Jada will team up to convince Everett aka Bobby to get treatment, but they’ll end up having a surprising interaction with him.
What could be more surprising than meeting a new personality altogether?
It’s possible that Bobby’s mental state will fragment even further, so that may be why Jada and Stephanie will be stunned by their upcoming interaction with him.
It’d be interesting to see yet another alter come out to play since he might be quite different from Everett and Bobby.
Stephanie and Jada may realize just how far gone Bobby’s mental state is if he spins out with one more alternate personality.
