Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) will continue to struggle now that Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) has walked away from their marriage. Nicole took off her wedding ring set and pushed for a divorce, so EJ will have to deal with some pain, anger and loneliness.
Could that dangerous combination lead to a new hookup partner for EJ?
It wouldn’t be too surprising if EJ landed in someone else’s bed pretty soon, especially if alcohol is involved.
However, Days could deliver a twist if they offer an enemies-to-lovers story here.
Could Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) be the next woman that EJ lets passion erupt with?
There are obviously good reasons for Ava and EJ to have total disdain for each other.
EJ’s beloved mother turned out to be just fine in the end, but he still hates Ava for all the chaos that played out with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
Ava isn’t too fond of EJ either considering he sent a hitwoman to wipe her off the map, but that’s why it’ll be soapy if EJ and Ava hit the sheets.
After all, Ava is feeling lonely as well since she split from Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), who left town and made his Days exit.
It’s easy to imagine Ava seeking comfort in another man’s bed, so why not EJ for the sake of DOOL drama?
That could even tie in with Ava’s storyline with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) since they’re trying to hide their own drunk hookup.
Maybe Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) could overhear Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) say something about her brother sleeping with Ava.
In that case, it would work out well for Ava if she’s currently sleeping with EJ.
If Gabi confronted her, Ava could play it off like Kristen was referring to another DiMera brother instead off Stefan!
Of course, having Ava grow closer to EJ could lead to him scoring her secret and blowing up Stefan’s marriage to Gabi in the end.
It makes sense to put Ava in EJ’s orbit and have him get the revenge angle he’s been hoping for.
