Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) are gearing up for quite a showdown. EJ has given Eric plenty of reasons to be livid lately, so it’s no surprise that these two are going to face off.
EJ kept quiet about Jude Brady’s (Oliver McLarty) paternity and planned to raise Eric’s son as his own, so that alone deserves Eric’s wrath.
Instead of doing the right thing, EJ selfishly hid the truth in an effort to keep Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) by his side.
That plan backfired spectacularly thanks to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) and the press conference that changed everything.
Nicole announced that she wanted a divorce soon after, but that won’t stop EJ from battling Eric for her heart!
During the week of July 22-26, Days spoilers say Eric and EJ will let their mutual fury erupt.
Although all the Jude drama will obviously be a factor, Nicole will really be the driving force behind this confrontation.
EJ will probably get in Eric’s face about the time he abandoned Nicole and put his mission in Africa first.
Eric walked away from Nicole and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) when he finally had a chance to be a happy family with them.
Days spoilers suggest EJ will think he’s the far better man for Nicole as a result.
Perhaps EJ will argue that any reunion between Nicole and Eric is only going to end in heartbreak.
Since Eric and Nicole have failed to make their relationship work so many times, EJ may make a prediction about them never truly ending up together.
EJ might hope that Nicole will eventually come crawling back to him once Eric lets her down again.
Of course, Eric might fire back about how Nicole’s done with EJ for good and defend his own magnetic connection with her.
Days spoilers point to EJ and Eric’s faceoff getting out of hand, so their argument may ultimately turn into a full-blown brawl over who’s the best man for Nicole.
However, Nicole’s July 29 DOOL exit airdate is just around the corner, so that’s important to keep in mind.
Eric and EJ’s feud over Nicole would mean more if she was sticking around to play a long-term story with the both of them.
