Everett might get Stephanie Johnson’s (Abigail Klein) help, especially after Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) SOS call. As more characters get roped into the drug storyline, could we see some career changes, including with Everett and Stephanie?
Everett Lynch’s Overdose Story
DOOL spoilers reveal that Everett is the editor-in-chief at The Spectator. While Everett’s skills are in journalism and reporting, he is drawn to Salem’s drug crisis. Everett told Stephanie that he had a good friend who died from a drug overdose. Everett said that he was the one to find the body.
DOOL Spoilers: The Spectator’s Petty Cash
As for Everett’s work for The Spectator, he told Chad that he wanted to blow the drug story wide open. It was clear that Everett felt passionate about the topic, as most writers do. Everett also asked Chad for petty cash.
Everett explained that it would be helpful to have cash to pay off dealers. Everett reasoned that dealers aren’t going to talk without some money. Chad ended up giving Everett $5,000.
Whether Everett is really using that money for intel is unclear. For the time being, let’s assume that Everett is a good guy. Everett might be slimy in relationships, but that doesn’t mean he’s crooked in other ways.
Then, there is Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) asking Chad for a favor, which probably has to do with an article on the Bistro’s drug raid.
Everett won’t like Stefan turning to Chad. Then, Everett blows up and threatens to quit if Chad doesn’t stop protecting his family. So, Everett’s real passion might be combating drugs and not journalism.
Ava Vitali’s PR Crisis
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that while Stefan turns to Chad, Ava decides to take action regarding the restaurant’s reputation.
Even though the Bistro is a cover, it has to seem legitimate. So, Ava knows that even though the raid was a bust, people are already talking.
So, Ava turns to Stephanie for PR help. Meanwhile, Stephanie is also helping Everett with his articles.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Black Patch 2.0?
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) already expressed interest in a police job. Johnny hasn’t taken any action, yet, but he did talk about it. Perhaps it’s time that more people in Salem join the police department.
Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) joined the PD but is getting killed off. Now, the police department isn’t the only way the people of Salem can get involved.
Perhaps Everett and Stephanie will find they are really good at investigating. Maybe the former flames will become the new “Black Patch” of Salem.
