Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a couple of big storylines could collide now that Arnold Feniger (Galen Gering) is posing as Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) again.
DOOL has been dropping some interesting clues, so let’s consider how all this might play out.
In the December 27 episode, Arnold mentioned to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that he saw Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and his “hot wife” before they left for work.
There may be a reason why Days writers had Arnold specify that he thought Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) was hot.
Since Arnold is pretending to be Rafe, it’s just a matter of time until he blows up Rafe’s relationship with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu).
EJ might even convince Arnold to ruin things since he wants revenge on Jada for getting him fired.
Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean EJ will order Arnold to seduce Chanel, but Arnold might try to get her in bed with him anyway.
Chanel wouldn’t normally be tempted to stray from her husband, but the situation will change once she gets updates on the whole ugly cheating story.
Johnny betrayed Chanel with Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and covered it up, so Chanel will have to deal with plenty of anger and heartbreak.
Since Chanel will be vulnerable and perhaps looking for a little payback, Arnold might sense a prime opportunity here.
Will fake Rafe comfort Chanel and try to convince her to hook up with him next?
That could lead to a ton of Days drama, especially if Johnny finds Chanel and “Rafe” doing the deed!
Johnny would feel doubly betrayed since he cares so much about his former stepfather and thinks so highly of him.
It’s easy to imagine Johnny decking “Rafe” in the aftermath and ripping into Chanel, too.
Johnny only hit the sheets with Joy because he thought Chanel cheated first, so he’ll be hurt if she sleeps with faux Rafe or anyone else just to retaliate.
Regardless, our Days predictions point to Arnold causing some romantic blow-ups during this Rafe takeover, so stay tuned for all the bad news that’s brewing.
