Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, January 5, reveal that Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) will reel now that the judge has reversed his decision and revoked Tate’s bail. Just when it looked like Tate had a reason to celebrate, his world came crashing down all over again.
Of course, Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will push for answers and voice their outrage.
It won’t be long until EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is revealed as the reason for the judge’s sudden reversal, so that’ll really leave Brady fuming.
In fact, Brady will try to launch a physical confrontation with EJ right there in the police station. Brady will have to be held back before he makes matters worse with new charges.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will bicker with EJ over his vendetta, but EJ will remain determined to throw the book at Tate for what happened to Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis).
That means Tate will have to await trial behind bars – and instead of being charged as a juvenile, EJ will make it clear that he’s going down as an adult.
Days spoilers say Tate will be terrified over his imminent trip to Statesville, but Brady and Theresa will try to stay strong for him despite their own fears.
After Tate shares a difficult goodbye with his parents, Theresa and Brady will watch as he’s carted off to Statesville.
Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) will stand up to EJ in Friday’s DOOL episode, but that won’t do any good either.
Regardless of what anyone else says, EJ thinks Tate is a “druggie loser” and plans to make him pay for Holly landing in a coma.
On a happier note, Days spoilers say Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will be on cloud nine after Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) decision to spend the night.
Sarah stuck around to help care for Victoria Horton-Cook and strengthened her bond with Xander in the process.
As a result, Xander will ask Sarah to move in permanently. It’d make it a lot easier to raise Victoria together – not to mention it’d allow Sarah and Xander to take the next romantic steps forward.
Sarah will get on board with the idea eventually, so Xander will be pleased over all the positive updates happening in his life.
Other Days spoilers say Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) will do some packing as she prepares to head to China with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams).
Unfortunately, the plan to move to Hong Kong together will hit a snag when Tripp delivers some difficult news.
Tripp may not like the idea of bailing on Holly in the middle of her case, so that could be a factor in him backing out of this move with Wendy.
The bigger issue will probably be Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) since Tripp worries she may be keeping secrets and in over her head when it comes to all the drug drama.
Tripp just can’t leave Salem right now, so he’ll share a heartfelt goodbye with Wendy – including a little steamy time together on the sofa.
However, Tripp will be taken aback when he finds Wendy still in town in the coming episodes, so it seems she’ll change her plans soon, too.
