Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (last played by Camila Banus) is suffering behind bars thanks to some bad decisions and Li Shin’s (Remington Hoffman) final revenge. Li pointed the finger at Gabi in his last moments alive – and Gabi didn’t do herself any favors by getting caught at the crime scene.
Now Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) has dragged Gabi into even more trouble through this whole situation with Clyde Weston (James Read).
Gabi’s leg was broken as a way to send a message to Stefan, so she’s living in total misery and fears for her life.
However, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will remain determined to clear Gabi’s name and get her out of prison as soon as possible.
Days spoilers say Rafe will prove he’s a very devoted and protective big brother, so he may become the hero of this story and ultimately score Gabi’s release.
If that happens, it’s easy to imagine Gabi deciding that she wants to surprise Stefan with the good news.
Gabi might plan to make her triumphant return to the DiMera mansion and stun Stefan with a long-awaited reunion.
That could be a problem due to Stefan’s complicated bond with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and the cover story they’ve created.
DOOL fans know Stefan is pretending to have an affair with Ava, but they could end up cheating for real down the road.
After all, Ava still misses Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and gets reminded of him every time she looks at Stefan.
Meanwhile, Stefan is lonely without Gabi and stressed to the max over all this Clyde chaos.
It’s possible Stefan will surrender to temptation with Ava and try to relieve some of that stress.
Will this turn into a case of terrible timing? Will Gabi gain her freedom and discover Stefan in bed with Ava soon after?
Gabi will face fury and heartache if she comes home thinking she’s going to reunite with her husband and finds Stefan under the covers with Ava instead!
Stefan may scramble to explain, but Gabi may think it’s crystal clear what he’s been up to behind her back.
Days spoilers indicate that a Gabi recast is happening, so this seems like a great way to introduce her to the canvas.
The new Gabi could come out swinging with some dramatic scenes right off the bat.
There’s no confirmation just yet, but Cherie Jimenez appears to be the actress who’s taking over this Days role from Camila Banus.
