Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Cherie Jimenez) is hurting over her imminent divorce, but she agreed with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) about it being time to move on.
Stefan and Gabi inflicted too much damage on each other, so now they feel like there’s no coming back from it.
Of course, DOOL characters don’t usually stay single for long!
Gabi may end up putting her heart on the line again sooner than she thinks, especially now that another former flame is about to reenter the picture.
Days spoilers say JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) is headed back to the show, so he could be a love interest option for Gabi.
Although JJ’s initial Days return will be about officiating Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and “Abigail DiMera’s” (AnnaLynne McCord) wedding, he’ll have time to get involved in other stories eventually.
Casey Moss filmed quite a bit in recent months, so there’s much more JJ content to come. That means JJ will have a chance to get reacquainted with some familiar faces like Gabi, who could use someone to lean on.
Gabi and JJ will always have a special connection, especially since she played a role in saving him the night he contemplated taking his own life.
Perhaps JJ could reflect on that difficult memory and offer Gabi his gratitude once they cross paths.
JJ could also try to return the favor by supporting Gabi as she copes with her split from Stefan.
Although JJ could never truly repay Gabi for coming to his rescue that night, he might extend some kindness when she needs it most.
JJ’s comfort would still mean a lot to Gabi, so this could be the start of a romantic reconnection.
It’ll be interesting to see what their chemistry looks like now that Cherie Jimenez is playing Gabi instead of Camila Banus.
Days fans will be eager to find out if JJ and Gabi still have those flying sparks!
